Good. 10% commission/agreement! Once this is properly enforced, cost of house rent would significantly reduce, unlike when agents would charge 20-30% agreement and commission, making the rent high.

This is a more feasible solution than asking landlords to charge monthly in my own opinion cos some troublesome tenants would take advantage of it and refuse to pay rent after a few months.

This reminder long overdue! Lagos landlords and some agents dey run street on tenants with all these yeye 'agreement and caution fees' wey pass rent itself. Kudos to the state for standing firm. But enforcement na the koko, make LASRERA no just dey press release, make dem press action too!

The funny part is that the whole money was paid to the caretaker, not even the agents oo
