I have some broiler chickens I'm raising for research, I sample-weighed the remaining one yesterday, and it's weighing 5.13kg, though not against any fixed time period. I just want to test a hypothesis: "impact of varying live weights on chicken breasts quality and dressed weight of broiler chickens". I will reach the maximum weight a broiler could attain before disembarking. I raised them on self-formulated feed.

Raising birds are not for me.
The profit margin is incredibly small to the point that the lost of few birds can threaten the existence of the business.
I have seen people that this business brought to their knees even with over 15 years experience.

I am hoping to see someone that would convince me.

how does feeding a chicken very well to archive greater results in weight affect the protein quality?

I didn't watch the video but most times when poultry is breed at a faster rate than their normal growth rate, it typically involves feeding them with things that makes the meat of less quality. It do still be savoury in your mouth but having less nutrition.

Yes high cost of production was also a contributing factor, but if I'd not ran out of capital in the failed crop production exercise I would have managed to continue.

How does feeding an animal genetically modify to add weight in a short period causing kidney problems?

If you watch the video, the farmer said he doesn't use any growth boaster or any chemical to boast growth because his family also eat the meat, so he produce healthy meat and use feed only

Also, under what time frame did you achieve 5.1kg? Time frame's not a factor in this particular experiment, but for records sake, it's 11 weeks, and the last 3 weeks has been on/off feeding regime
