Don't forget lagos was a two time Federal capital. Comparing Lagos to other states will never make sense until you give the other states the kind of headstart and opportunities Lagos has had over the time.

The article further pointed out that the 1970s oil boom under the military government affected Lagos positively in the sense that major infrastructures like Eko bridge and Third mainland bridge was built while the already existing carter bridge was re-built, among others. The article only blamed the military governments between 1970s to the late 1990s for lack of planning.

The same article still blamed the current democratic government for making Lagos to remain deplorable, rowdy, unsanitary, and a city of the urban poor.

It's a small land, only 60% of the size of Ebonyi State with 20m people living there. Try developing infrastructure, transport, waste management in such small space to cater for so many people. There's nothing that proves that Tinubu is a lesser evil than Atiku sha. They're both desperate for power, and both very corrupt.

In terms of administration and outlook to governance, I'd say they're pretty much same, and maybe Atiku edges him a bit on transparency the guy seems to have some modicum of dignity or pride, while BAT is completely shameless and brazen.

Of Lagos governors since 1999 you can even argue that BAT has been the worst of the lot.

This is someone who has studied economics and financial management and enacted strategies to make his state the go to destination for capital, while your typical Nigerian Governor was setting up "structure" to include suppression, assassination squads, persecution of rivals and seizing of property to make their states unattractive to capital.
