People should look for other alternatives. When you stop buying beef, herdsmen would not produce any and would never visit your farmlands for cattle feeds.
Lolzzzzz, so u really think the reason these terrorists are killing people is because of feed for their cattle?

Una dey amuse me

Nigerians and misplaced ideas.

The cost of beef is high, yet no butcher around my area goes home without selling his products.
So who buys it
Price is determined by the cost of production and market forces of demand and supply.

If the demand for meat reduces, the price will come down, but of course, trust Nigerians.
Long Throat is a must.
It's about supply. The commodity is scarce hence the few available can't go round, hence the high cost.

I still got half a kilo for 4k today, that's all I could afford; I pity family men these days; there's no way you won't spend at least 10k to feed your family daily.
What is N10k? That's for one person, the breadwinner.
Breakfast - N4000
Lunch - N3000
Supper - N3,000
Total - N10,000
This is management.

1, Pork has bad fat, high in cholesterol and can spike a heart attack in obese people.

2, If not well cooked it's a major cause of worms.

3, Don't be deceived pork meat is also expensive.

The cost of living is way too high. I just feel like exiting this world to go and rest from all this.

Everyday you wake up and be thinking of how to survive. When u go completely broke, u don't even have anybody to run to. As an orphan, I'm just surviving through the grace and mercies of God. My heart beats every time due to fear of lack
Lol cheesy, it's too early to start complaining breh. Wahala never start, you don dey contemplate suicide...hahaha cheesy

Wait for the Part 2 of Èmi lókàn movie (coming out in 2027) featuring Tinubu, Shettima, Akpabio, Gbaja and host of other APC goons. grin

That demystifies the last thing.

The north produces nothing, not even the acclaimed cattle.

But it also still proves my point, reduce the demand for Meat the price will fall, or let them eat Thier meat by themselves, I don't know why every southener can't raise minimum of 4 fowl a month, even 1 month bird is edible., this will reduce the consumption of beef,

Until we learn to improvise, we will keep complaining.

It is very easy.Stop eating beef and begin a total boycott,no one would come into your farms. What is the essence of grazing when they are no buyers? I eat much fish, egg for my protein intake. That's my little protest. Always bear in mind that when ever you buy and consume a cow meat, you are partly fuelling the crisis.

yeah, I agree that one person can use that 10k conveniently, but in reality how many families can do 10k x30 days equal 300k on feeding alone in a month? what about other expenses and bills?
if you earn less than 500k a month ,for a family of 5 ,its a big struggle.

I love your submission, despite being single, you still have some emphatics for married men. That 10k is just for a family of 4 to eat normal and not better foods.

Those who can't afford meat should try egg. Protein is not a must.
As long as all of us have decamped to apc and are in support of tinubu policies, no complaints at all.

If you can't afford meat, eat without meat.
Next time we are opportune to vote, let's vote someone whose only manifesto is 'its my turn"

Hmmm ... in order to drop the price of beef do they expect the cattle people to start slaughtering their pets? Funny people.

Chai. As a student I bought kilo of turkey 900-1100. Anytime my girlfriend is coming over I will buy turkey for her to make turkey stew. How many university students can still do this.

Reno will soon come and ask people to switch to alternatives like rat and bush meat. Wake up people.

Nothing makes a people poor like inflation. Prices of goods and services keep increasing and income remains the same.

I'm not even a fan of red meat, I deal mostly on fish and chicken.
