Well i wasn't here for you it's the OP that i'm interested in telling the truth from the Bible that Jesus is God's Son not God. John 3:16

Thanks for your time! smiley
But according to JW , Jesus is angel Michael, and not the son of God.

Nah you did not. You chose to reject what Jesus said about Himself. Which is why I can't reason with you ... grin

It's OK let's leave it at what each person believes after reading the Bible!

Once again thanks for your time! Titus 3:9 compare to Proverbs 29:9 smiley

Oga, you are quoting verses that do not give you the big picture. Jesus said many things about Himself...and He even went further to ask people who they thought He was. So quoting a handful of verses will never change the FACT that Jesus is God incarnate, who died , rose again and is sitted at the right-hand of God the Father.

Lastly , why didnt you read Titus 2: 13 ...or are you scared of that place because it does not sit well with Charles Russell Taze JW doctrine? smiley
Re: Who Is Jesus? by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:59pm On May 24, 2025
When questions are asked by an interested persons it's best each of us to present his or her own understanding instead of quarrelling over church doctrine.

From what i understood in the scriptures Jesus has a father who is my father and a God who is my God and Jesus called his disciples "BROTHERS" something God has never used for anyone from Genesis to Revelations! smiley

I don't want to quarrel with you please if you have anything tangible to say just go straight to the point there are many Bible translations that used god in that verse.

It is. Legendised means there was a person whose qualities or deeds took on a very elaborate dimension that is an overexaggeration of those deeds or qualities.

Jesus is either a legendised individual or legendised composite of several individuals from the 1st century CE during the Roman occupation of the Levant. That period had a bunch of apocalyptic preachers who could have been the basis for the Jesus of the Bible.
Wow
For the purpose of discourse are you saying there never was a Jesus who walked the earth. Or you mean someone who walked the earth during the Roman rule Era of Jerusalem was just a preacher who claimed to be the savior of mankind?

Jesus Christ of Israel NEVER did say that He was a savior of mankind. undecided

➜Christians call Him the Son of God. Muslims refer to him as one of the prophets. The born again spirit filled believers call him the soon coming King. Who is Jesus to you? Was he a real individual that walked this earth 2000+ years ago or a figment or history?
According to the books of Israelite origin, Jesus Christ of Israel was born a Messiah to the bloodline of Jacob in the land of Judah during the 1st century. He is as real as Socrates, Plato, and every other historical figure who ever lived. undecided

Interesting. That means the person every nation and even demons acknowledge as Lord is a mere preacher who happen to be favored of God such that He called Him His only begotten Son.
Thanks for your honesty though

John 1?
John 3 and 1 are both correct. In John 1 He was referred to as the Word of God that was made flesh and walked among us. In John 3:16, He is the only begotten Son of God

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.
Point of correction.
The (b) side of that verse says " the Word was God."

Maybe that is your belief but it certainly not mine. Also, every nation? Are you kidding? You don't know that not all nations think Jesus is a lord?

Jesus as far as I am concern was just some preacher his followers legendised. There is no god or demons in play at all.

You are chatting with a Bible believer so i know what verse you want to quote anytime you make reference to the word of my God.

Jesus is not God that's why verse 18 in that chapter said:

"No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him" John 1:18

Nobody has seen God but people saw Jesus!
Which bible version did you just quote from?

No man has ever seen God at any time; the only [a]unique Son, or [b]the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known
(John 1:18 Amplified Bible Classic version)

Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He wasn't a god as you claim but God in the Flesh.

It's really laughable. I guess the bible version he's quoting from is the reason for his summation.

Yes, that's absolutely correct. Max was just pulling your legs 😁, Don't mind him that's his usual narrative, only God knows the type of brainwashing he must have received. 🧟

To answer, your question. Jesus is the manifestation of God in flesh😁🙃 unlike how some👀 wants us to believe that Jesus is Michael; 🤨 fighting Wars in heaven, turning the left cheek on Earth😁.

He is someone that had been conditioned to think his religious denomination are the custodian of all things correct and right interpretation of the Bible. The reason they readily call other Christian denominations false Christians teaching false doctrines.

When Jesus said

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
As against grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

No man has seen God at any time
I am tempted to ask which is literal, which is figurative here? They are masters at determining for others what to be taken as figurative and literal grin cheesy

You still do not get it. Jesus told His listeners that I and My Father are one (John10:30)...which does not translate to agreement; it translates to I-am -equal -to -God. Which is why they wanted to stone Him...

You don't get stoned for agreeing with God. You get stoned for claiming to be God(aka blasphemy)grin
Jesus wasn't just God's Son, He was God in the Flesh which was why He was referred to as the Word of God. When you read the early verses of John 1, you'll see where He was referred to as the one in whom all things were created by. Which means when God was creating the world, Jesus was the creative force bringing those things to expression.
It's a mystery
Jesus is God (the Son)

What did I say that I was banned?
I did not use any curse words.

Jesus is a myth simple and short.
He was created by the Roman empire. Woman don't just magically become pregnant.
They need a male input.
God mating with humans is the Hallmark of Greek/Roman mythology....
Jesus and persus belong to same category.
When you can't explain a mystery. It's best you keep silent and stop spouting blasphemy.
Thanks for your honesty though.

We are saying the same thing . Jesus is God the Son , who happens also to be God

The answer:
it is BEYOND your compression! You are INCAPABLE of grasping the structure of the spirit world!! It is like telling someone in a two-dimensional world that if you keep going in a straight line on a sphere you'd come back to where you started. He'd keep insisting they're two different points and there is no way you can convince him they are the same point!

So on what basis do you believe other aspects of the Spirit world??
You believe God can simultaneously listen to millions of prayers. You believe God and Jesus can simultaneously dwell INSIDE lots of people. You believed Jesus when He said He and the Father are one, and that once you see Him you've seen the Father. The only thing you can't believe is that God (the Son) can sit beside God (the Father)! Wow!

He won't understand that this is a very rough approximation - that there is actually no human analogy that can describe God. Just as we use "He" for God when in reality "He" does not at all apply to God
In reality God is sexless. He is an embodiment of both male and female. We use "He" in reference to God as a generic term.
