Muhammadson2020:I think both you and your car are the problem. You need to review the tool you use for the hustle. I drive corolla bro and it doesn't drink fuel. I ensure I don't do too much long pick up. You need to know maths and numbers to make it in this business. Because if I drive 3km to go pick someone. I factor that into the total kilometre for the trip to determine if it's worth the price. |

PuZZyNegro:Nice one champ, keep it going I read here few days ago Someone said he uses a ford 2.0 litre engine with 20k fuel to average 80k, so if you are using Corolla 1.8l to also make about 80,500, which is in similar range from what someone else have said earlier. IMO I think it is very possible, there’s less to doubt about the fuel amount here. |

dreezy007:The only issue I have with folks here is they will just drop the info leaving out details for clarity I use 20k fuel to make 80k Is the 80k gross or net? I use 20k fuel to make 80k Without surge or surge or offline? All these goes a long way |

for me saving 2.5 million naira a year is very doable, when I been dey drive uber/bolt for lagos around 2021/2022 with one of my relative corolla then I was able to save more than 3million in less than 10 months, note I be average driver oo, I have friends on rental wey dey drive for bolt making 30k-40k net daily, 30k × 25days =750k, 750k- 180k monthly rental= 570k - 70k monthly car repairs & maintenance though you usually share the money 50/50 with the owner.. Miscellaneous-30k, Average house rent selfcon-600k per annum Feeding-60k monthly Light bill-25k monthly Upkeep-40k Miscellaneous-50k monthly Savings-250k × 12 months.. 3million.. ![]() |

dav1002:Don't mind them Bolt commission on that 80k will be like 16k that's if we are looking at 20% commission Some are on daily remittance of about 6k daily Some use EOD cars which has engine size of 2.4L consuming averagely 8liters/km of fuel Some cars, you are either toping oil 5k at times on the road, buying belt 8k, or emergency fairly used tire of 12k when you least expect, all to take you to your mechanic Some drivers are married with about 2 to 3 kids with a full time house wife House expenses daily or monthly will be far higher than those that are single. There are days you get stuck in a location for hours with no request either on bolt or tangible request on InDrive when you will be forced to drive empty to a place you can get request leading to shortage of fuel But most drivers come online to post figures... Bragging upandan .... Figures that only tell the gross story but not the net Deceiving both drivers and investors with bogus figures Now I can tell you categorically that a lot of cars get damaged and after two to three repairs, drivers become broke and can't bring their cars out of the mechanic workshop, they will have to borrow more money to finish the work This work as it is, is currently casted Think twice before you invest in it, except you are driving by yourself The current prices by InDrive are ridiculously low and can't maintain your car.... Except of course if you can bill riders well outside the app |

realpoacher:All these are true story of SOME drivers while the reality of making 50k daily profit is also reality of SOME drivers. Both experiences are true and no one, not even u should say others are lying. It is an insult on ur intelligence to assume every drivers case is the same. When obviously people use different types of cars and have unique circumstances. |
