As a Professional Trainer....Keeping a dog and actual Training of a dog are two different things.As a Trainer i have heard people that feed and keep a dog say they "Trained" the dog.These are two different things.Lets be guided!
Please consult a Dog Trainer for best advise on your Dogs and Dog breed behaviours.

Nigerians became emergency doglovers in the past few years. Small money and they have bought dog. They will buy huskies in a hot country like Nigeria. When the dog starts acting possessed, they either abandon it or look for who to dash it to.

I'm sure they are feeding them garri, rice and soup instead of dog foods which I know Nigerian companies don't produce and the ones in the marts are very expensive.

There is this small water reservoir where the villagers go and wash farm tools or whatever after coming back from the farm close to their house. This dog goes there to swim almost everyday. Anywhere he sees water, whether muddy, he will jump in.


I'm sure somebody has that breed in Nigeria.

Many Nigerians have husky. I wasn't assuming when I mentioned that breed. It is what I have seen😃😃. I have also seen some feeding it eba like you rightly suspected.

There are local dog foods in Nigeria. I know my brother used to buy them for his dog. They were just not as wellpackaged and tasty like the foreign ones.
