Lolz... At first u said u can't buy anything with that amount... Meaning u spend more. Now u are asking whether if u have 700k it's to use and buy food stuff.
Many people just talk because they just want to talk, or boast about what they never have an experience of. Which one are u?

What should we belief now? that 100k is not enough to buy u food a month or what??

Jega2000:
for me saving 2.5 million naira a year is very doable, when I been dey drive uber/bolt for lagos around 2021/2022 with one of my relative corolla then I was able to save more than 3million in less than 10 months, note I be average driver oo, I have friends on rental wey dey drive for bolt making 30k-40k net daily, 30k × 25days =750k, 750k- 180k monthly rental= 570k - 70k monthly car repairs & maintenance though you usually share the money 50/50 with the owner.. Miscellaneous-30k,
Average house rent selfcon-600k per annum
Feeding-60k monthly
Light bill-25k monthly
Upkeep-40k
Miscellaneous-50k monthly
Savings-250k × 12 months.. 3million.. grin grin
Feeding 60k 😂

Be like na gala and boiled egg you been dey buy🥱🥱

no way I am gonna do that kind of thing on my car.....I take care of my baby very well so it doesn't give me issue. The point is I won't take that kind of money to buy bulk food. The only reason I buy bulk is to get a good deal out of the market which 200k can do too plus prices of stuff is not stable too so using 700k to buy it at once is an over shoot, it goes up and down

Nigeria never bad reach say a single man cannot survive on 60k for feeding for a month. But what do I know, guys go dey do dorime for restaurant then tomorrow they will be begging for money to fix car and saying ehailing driver no fit get 500k savings.

Not at all.
Even if u eat outside, u can still spend 2k on two good meals in 2021.
And if u cook at home u definitely will use 60k in a month conveniently. Kilo of chicken was still like 2,500 in 2021. If u buy 1k meat it will reach 10pieces.

I am now beginning to understand why people always complain of lack of money in this thread. Una dey chop like Cubana and Dangote

We won't see Muhammadson2020 here today to follow up on this open avenue to learn or debunk his ehailing woes of 'savings not being possible' undecided

Funny thing is that in the next 2 - 3 years he will still come here to start speaking like he just did a few days ago cry you'd then begin to ask yourself "why is he still struggling on it? Why not change your business/hustle and be able to finally have some savings ?" . . . But no, according to him -

Even if the horse 🐴 is dead (business) , so far the koboko is still in his hand (vehicle) then he MUST continue flogging the horse till his miracle comes through cool

My brother,

As much as I respect your hard work and dedication in this hustle, but please try not to place your expectations on other drivers. Everyone’s situation is different. Not all drivers use the same type of car or apply the same techniques, and pushing too hard can lead to problems (both mentally and physically).

I’ve lost someone in this line of work who was trying to make “plenty money” too quickly. Let’s allow everyone to move at their own pace and within their own capacity.

Yes o, people should spend their money the way they like.
But my stance is with people who will lavish their money and then turn around to complain that the business is not profitable because they don't have money to buy battery or fix their car when it spoils.

It's high time we stop encouraging laziness.
The person doing his job well should not be advised to take it easy while people not working and complaining are motivated to continue complaining about govt and hoping on divinity to change their story.

I don't want to mention names but a lazy d here on this thread had an accident with his car. So let's stop this narrative that if u work hard, u will have accident or have a deadly illness or die.
It has gone about too much, more and more people are believing it.

Pearl, just because another driver isn’t making the "kind of money" you are making doesn’t mean they’re lazy. Honestly, your comments don’t sound much different from those who come here to put down this hustle.

Everyone has their own reasons for doing this job, your goals and expectations is not be the same as someone else’s. So why try to impose yours on them?.

Must we wait until we hear bad news about your colleagues before you understand that not everyone has the same grace or capacity?

The person who shared his weekly target works mostly at night, do you realize how risky that is? Night driving comes with serious dangers, and not everyone can or should operate that way.

Let’s be more careful and thoughtful with how we place our expectations on people.
