Go read your history books. In WW1 and WW2, countries fought over tiny kilometres of land space, and there was a defined and stated frontline and battlefield zone

Gaza is big enough for hostilities and a defined civilian and humanitarian corridor.

If you didn't you'd know that the two scenarios are different children die in wars . It is inevitable since the dawn of modern weapons civilian casualties in wars has gone up. Israel doesn't go around killing children for nothing it is unfortunate that children die but then it's inevitable. The Hamas ministry adds:

Israel is funding the mechanism through the “Gaza” aid fund and is violating international law by operating it.

Gazans have the right to receive aid at their place of residence under international law. Cooperating with the occupation’s mechanism threatens the work of international organizations.

If the mechanism fails, the occupation will be forced to resume aid deliveries through the previous format — via the UN and international organizations.

The occupation will attempt to conduct security intelligence gathering through the mechanism.
