This is the problem with religion. It seeks righteousness by outward acts that have nothing to do with the condition of the soul.

While nudity and semi nudity are indicative of a rudderless life the same cannot be said of anklets. If the pastor had done some research he would have discovered that they were an item of culture on Israel. In fact they had bells on them isaiah 3:16-24 is not a commentary on anklets but on pride.

My wife does not wear neither did I ever date anyone before marriage who did. But personal preference should not create a moral hazard.

Nudity and semi nudity are clearly inspired by something else other than God but the pastor overstretched with anklets and risked losing the plot. This is important but because it is yet another uneccessary "fence" of righteousness. By the time Jesus appeared on the scene there were 1500 of these "fence" laws and Jesus referred to them as "burdens"

On this one the pastor is spot on though. Following your pattern recognition and data analysis, it's saved to argue that overwhelming majority of people who wear ankle chain are lesbians.

Lesbians wear them to announce themselves. Another significant percentage are prostitutes. They also wear them to say: "I'm available".

Wearing jewellry, metallic or colourful beads, whether in the ears or around the wrists, waist or ankles were a very common practice across Africa for centuries. So was body art commonly called tattoos. My granny had them on her body. If the bible says that in the jewish culture it signifies prostitution, are we jews? It is you who needs to gather some facts and know your own culture. I have never worn an anklet but I do not judge others who do. Lemme rephrase that, thoughts, then actions.
Taking drugs doesn't make you a Sinner. However, it doesn't mean it is a good thing because when it's abused, it can have severe repercussions. neither is wearing cloths that belongs to the opposite sex else an entire countries can be classified sinners.

The concept of sin has been grossly misunderstood. Let us take the drug for instance, that same drug is been administered in medicine for saving lives for most of it, those that the drugs were administered on, does it make them sinners cos drug is drug. Even those that administer it, are they sinners? Same with the cloths you mentioned, there are several cultures where male and female dress alike, does it classify them as sinners? God has given us all things to use and enjoy from drugs to clothings, however, the question is how do we use these things, is it to edify him or otherwise! And that's where the problem is.
As a Christian, two fundamental law applies cos it covers all others and am pretty sure, it applies to other religion though I don't believe in religion. Christ never came to preach religion. The 1st Law is Love God with all your heart and all that's within you. Second is to love your neighbor as you love yourself. If you love God, you will believe in whom he referred to as his son, Jesus and everything that Christ instructed is what will be everyone's guiding principles. Secondly, if you love your neighbor as yourself, you will be considerate of your fellow human being and everything that you do will be guided by that principle. Anything outside these two laws tell you that you are not on the right path.
God has given man everything to enjoy and make use of appropriately. He won't give us if he knew they weren't purposeful and to improve the quality of life of a man. So my brother or sister, what man defines sin may not be sin to God. If God has not expressly regard it as sin, then it's not. Things God forbid include idolatry, murder, theft, adultery, homosexuality, greed, slander, pride, folly, standing as false witness etc. and not anklets or what have you.
