These fines were never made public. It's now that NAFDAC is saying they were fines.. Damage control. |

Rather than accepting the obvious violation of the right of the innocent ones among these people and proven case of extortion, they are now trying to change the narratives. What stops you from prosecuting those indicted and allowing the genuine businessmen at the market to continue with their businesses, now you want to impose a general unfair levy on all. Just accept your infraction like your brother at JAMB did. |

Government need to ensure the money is collected and returned to the traders who did not commit any crime. The ones who did should be closed down. NAFDAC has no business collecting fines. They can issue it, but collecting it? Absolutely not. Whoever instituted and collected the fine should be sacked. |

I thought they said all of them are selling fake drugs. More than 1,000 shops have paid the extortion fee, abi na fine. NAFDAC is saying they sold good drugs but the only problem was that it wasn't registered, while others didn't have standard storage facility for the drugs |

Good one from NAFDAC. I think VDM really wanted NAFDAC to perpetually close these shops. If they have to charge them court according to VDM, a lot of Anambra business men will go to jail for it. |

ERockson:you called this good one? Over 1000 people paid 700k and the name of the account is called nafdac project, are u saying over 1000 people sold fake drugs in one market? If you caught someone selling fake drugs, were you to fine them or closed down that shop? Nafdac need to come out clean. These things happened in lagos before, today panadal is almost 1k because of these extortions |

5,000,000 investigative charge for the sale of unregistered products, which was reduced to 200,000 following appeals. A 2,000,000 investigative charge for violations of Good Storage and Distribution Hehehehehe How come none of the traders knew what they were paying for? |

Now NAFDAC More corrupt than Nigeria police It takes a special kind of evil to be more corrupt than Nigeria police How can NAFDAC collect bribe and enable fake drugs How many people have NAFDAC arrested and charged to court for selling fake drugs after locking up the market for months?
