But I heard a body evaluates degree in nursing as professional, yetis nursing is not on that list. That’s why I thought I should ask though

wes evaluates those nursing stuff ( not bsc nursing ) as secondary school equivalent . So iqas evaluation them as diploma which qualifies for two or more degrees not professional degree

I am providing this update in case it may be useful to anyone.
I am sharing a just completed WES evaluation for a School of Nursing with WES and the outcome is a Canadian equivalence of = Three years of Hospital study and training which I believe is equal to a bachelor’s degree as explained on IRCC site below:

"Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute"

what WES requested are:

1. Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Certificate of Registration and confirmation of enrollment status. (This was requested on NMCN website, you will pay a fee for this to be sent to WES electronically)
2. Academic Transcript from the School of Nursing and Nursing Registration Certificate.

Please note that it may be time-consuming as it depends majorly on the response time from your school / NMCN. but in this case, NMCN was fast.

Canadian Equivalency : Three years of Hospital Study and Training.
Remark: The credential is not comparable to a completed canadian education credential. SO it waste of money using wes for this evaluation as a diploma holder from school of nursing!

You said this 3 years ago, and someone misinterpreted 'Canadian Equivalency: Three years of Hospital Study and Training' as a 3-year BSc by WES , which is incorrect. That report actually means it is only equivalent to secondary school and not a BSc But ices and iqas evaluate them better . I came to update this so others won’t be misled and continue wasting money expecting a BSc evaluation but ending up with a secondary school equivalency by WES . Great job, boss! 😊

Please I will like to ask a question from this your writeup, does it mean that someone that have diploma in nursing ( school of nursing) is not qualified to apply for Canada express entry ? Because it is not equivalent to Canada standard.

JUST AVOID WES AND USE OTHER CERTIFICATE EVALUATION BODY LIKE IQAS OR ICES if you hold a diploma in nursing as a Registered Nurse.

How can I do mine using Wes too ?I’m stuck on Nmcn verification
