The mockery started with Government building what they claim to be low cost housing for civil servants and a 2-Bedroom Bungalow is priced at N 30 million while a 3-Bedroom is priced at N 40 million and the minimum wage is N 30,000 per month while the average monthly salary of a Director in State Civil Service is between N 100K and N 200K. What cadre of civil servants are expected to afford such "low cost" housing based on their salaries?

Civil servants are the main enablers and engine room of corruption in Nigeria. Those saying this and that is not for civil servants are grossly ignorant.

Must they use that silly phrase for their marketing?

The issue is not whether CS should upgrade or not, it's the unhealthy environment the phrase makes that puts young persons under undue pressure to make ill-gotten wealth by any known and unknown means that calls for concern.
