Good appointment. Dogara excelled, as a leader from.the North, during the tax reform bill saga. He was one of those who requested a copy of all the proposed bills from the chairman of the tax reform bill committee.

Not only did Dogara read the proposed bill diligently but he even became expert on their content to be a defender of the proposed bill and it's teaching advocate to fellow Northerners.
