The write-up doesn't add up. Major sin Saul committed was disobedience. Apart, Saul was fulfilling the destiny of destruction already on the office he took up. I feel God is just God and is ways are not ours. He has folks he love and those he abhor. David fornicated, murdered, committed adultery and did every unthinkable thing.

Nonsense talk. No Christian today should imitate David. David was a horrible man and he operated on a different covenant which are different from ours today.

And besides, all scriptures are not inspired by Holy Spirit. There was no Holy Spirit in the old testament scriptures. It was all bloodshed and massacres and inaccuracies in book of Genesis.
