There are some things we say in football parlance that aren’t meant to be understood easily by non-football lovers or women. Things like Tottenham has no trophy or that Arsenal have never won a European trophy ever before (which isn’t true)
Anyone who understands this parlance would easily understand that “Europa doesn’t take into account what happened before the league was changed” The only time it’s mentioned is when the total number (of it) ever won by teams are being calculated just like in the EPL, we say Liverpool have had just two while Manchester United have won the glory 13 times but when we are talking about the all-time records, we start calculating from the time when the league was created and called THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE (or English league First division)
