Yes, it does. But. I doubt if the Russians would resort to that because it's more like the last kick of a dying horse. However, it's enough to scuttle and effectively kill any peace talk or concessions from the side of the Russians, and enough to trigger deeper and overt strikes across entire Ukrainian chain of command, including the presidency.

Bravo zelensky. What a way to kill any hope for peace, invite more loss of territory and attract more death and devastation across Ukraine. Thanks to an attack that has zero effects on Russia's Frontline capabilities. It was a nice PR stunt that changes nothing on the Front Lines.

So the total list of all “kidnapped” children, who were evacuated from the war zone, is 33,9, and Russia will return them, since now the list is known.

I am profoundly concerned about the trajectory of Nigeria’s future. When a populace begins to recoil at every strategic adversity expecting perpetual success devoid of setbacks, it signals a dangerous erosion of national resilience. A nation’s fortitude is measured not by the absence of failure, but by its capacity to absorb, analyze, and adapt through adversity.

Turning our attention to the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian conflict, a pattern emerges. On average, Ukraine has launched no more than four significant strategic strikes against the Russian Federation annually. Yet among these, the most recent act of sabotage stands out not only in precision but in its strategic impact. It exemplifies a broader trend. Ukraine, while the aggrieved sovereign actor, exhibits a strategic opportunism that mirrors Russia’s own, though, the moral legitimacy of sovereignty remains their primary point of divergence.

Let me be clear. Tactically, on the conventional frontlines, the Russian Federation maintains the upper hand. However, in the domains of asymmetric warfare particularly sabotage, subversion, and intelligence infiltration Ukraine demonstrates overwhelming superiority. This advantage stems largely from a robust network of clandestine operatives embedded within Russian territory. Indeed, the ratio of Ukrainian sleeper agents operating inside Russia compared to the inverse is conservatively estimated to exceed 10:1 a strategic liability that is rooted in Russia’s failure to prepare its internal security architecture before the onset of hostilities.

Unless urgent countermeasures are enacted, the frequency and sophistication of Ukrainian sabotage operations within Russian borders will only intensify. The Russian Federation must pivot toward an uncompromising internal security doctrine anchored on the following imperatives:

1. Comprehensive Border Surveillance: Immediate, round-the-clock surveillance of all territorial borders is essential, with particular emphasis on the Ukrainian and Belarusian frontiers, as well as those adjoining Kazakhstan, Georgia, Mongolia, and China. These vectors represent critical vulnerabilities.


2. Targeted Internal Monitoring: Russian nationals with recent Ukrainian origins particularly those naturalized post-conflict as well as individuals with familial or professional ties to Ukraine, must be subject to stringent monitoring protocols. The FSB must institute periodic, unannounced inspections and interrogative screenings to preempt infiltration.


3. Airspace Dominance: A permanent Level 1 no-fly zone must be imposed along the Ukrainian and Belarusian borders. Russia must reassert aerial supremacy as a precondition for safeguarding strategic installations.


4. Zero-Tolerance Counterterrorism Doctrine: Any individual, domestic or foreign found planning or executing acts of sabotage on Russian soil must face irreversible punitive measures. No extraditions, diplomatic negotiations, or prisoner exchanges should be entertained. National security must supersede all political diplomacy in such cases.


5. FSB Oversight of Central Asian Nationals: Nationals from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan entering Russia must be subjected to rigorous biometric tracking and movement monitoring. While not inherently suspect, these demographic corridors are increasingly exploited for covert operations and logistical infiltration.



Should these five countermeasures be executed without delay, the Russian Federation will significantly reduce its exposure to subversive threats emanating from Ukrainian operatives.

Although Ukraine has landed a symbolic blow, its operational objectives were only partially achieved. Nonetheless, this incident should serve as a catalyst for Russian military planners to initiate the development of hardened, fortified installations particularly for high-value assets such as warplanes and missile systems. It remains perplexing why Russia has hesitated to relocate these assets from vulnerable zones like Sevastopol to deeper, more secure military bastions. Perhaps, at last, this wake-up call will galvanize a strategic recalibration.

In summation, while Ukraine’s sabotage campaign reveals ingenuity and tactical finesse, the true strategic landscape remains far more complex than media narratives suggest. The loss of material equipment while visible and headline-grabbing is far less consequential than the attrition of trained personnel. For a military juggernaut like the Russian Federation, such setbacks, though embarrassing, are logistically recoverable. Equipment can and will be replenished. The war’s outcome will hinge not on symbolic strikes, but on sustained strategic depth, operational endurance, and adaptive counterintelligence.
