I was in same company, Enugu as staff for a long time. Drinking soda was the last thing we thought of, even when they were giving me 22 crates free every month end as sampling, we just sold them and never take home even a bottle.

I will be spending too much on fried chicken since I would never steal.

However, the fried chicken remnants after cooking would be free and make tasty snacks.

The staff working there don't see it as a big deal because they have had their fills already by way of perks and benefits provided by the company.

exactly, same goes for me when I joined 7up(PepsiCo) I got tired of free drinks and resorted to drinking water only.

From the comments above, you can surely deduce that the stealing culture is well entrenched in Nigeria. Most Nigerians will steal without thinking anything is wrong with it. No wonder our leaders are mostly thieves.
