What is your worse experience with a landlord that was mean or wicked to you?

Did they lock you out?
Did they off your water or generator?

I had an unregistered Tokunbo car parked in the compound that I intended using for transportation business and I also had a car I was using for daily waka so two cars at that time.

The compound could contain 7 cars in total at that time and I only parked 2 when the incident happened.

He stood in centre of the compound where Neighbors could hear what he was saying and then he started shouting.

I will summarize what he said below

- a tenant can have only one car.
- he had a dream where robbers came and shot the man that had his flat closest to my car.
- the robbers demanded for the car keys without shooting me but shot other co tenants in other flats.
- he gave me 2 days to remove the unregistered car.

I had to remove one of the cars and overtime had to park my cars (that I wanted to sell or use for transportation) at a nearby hotel.

The man later bought 2 cars same time and parked 3 cars in total in his compound.

Anyway it’s his house.

My landlord Neva give me any issue since I never give him any issue but I pray make God bless me with my own house very soon because de way house rent de increase nw no be small thing....

They are not.

Tenants are wicked as much as the landlord. God provides for us to build and enjoy our properties in peace and not in pieces.

My Landlord and his wife are the BEST.. they are like my parents, very UNDERSTANDING & don't pocknose

thank God you were not like me, the toto go red

70% of tenants are from PIT of HELL.You'll be lucky if u get responsible, calm, respectful tenants from the remaining 30%.

May we not jam demonic tenants

A new landlord buys a house with existing tenants with two months validity stay .
He increases rent by 💯% and asks tenant to pay or be evicted .
Tenants house rent expired last Month ( May )
New landlord through his lawyer says tenant must drop the keys and pack out same month his rent expires .
Lawyers in the building, isn't a quick notice supposed to be in effect ? Say 3 or 6 months?
How can the new landlord threaten eviction same month of expiry of existing tenant rent all because he just bought the house?

There are more worse tenants than you have of landlords.
Terrible people who will want to thrash your house, overcrowd the place and refuse to pay rents.

My landlord is unbelievably difficult to deal with. He owns two apartments in his building, yet refuses to live in either, he'd rather sleep outside on the bare floor out of sheer stubbornness and selfishness. He's so petty and selfish that even being a single day late on rent triggers a meltdown. The moment your rent is due, he starts spreading nasty rumors about you to everyone.
He will lie down in front of tenants’ doors, crying dramatically just to cause a scene. Worse still, he has a history of stealing from tenants and neighbors and has been caught multiple times. Instead of taking responsibility for damages around the property, he destroys things and then pressures us to repair them ourselves. What’s even more troubling is how he goes around fabricating stories about me, trying to turn neighbors against me for no other reason than the fact that I refuse to tolerate his nonsense and because I don't give him little money for dash. His behavior is so extreme, I genuinely worry he might go as far as committing arson, thats why I'm always alert watching his every move. Now, he's given me a quit notice simply because I stand up to him and won't be bullied. Living under his roof has become a nightmare.

I will tell my story here so others won't fall victim.

Although my spirit told me the landlady will be troublesome, but I thought since I'm a quiet person, I could use some silence when provoked.

My intention was to pay for just one year, study her character, if she's cool headed, then I renew but she insisted I must pay two year pleading that her daughter needs money to go to nysc camp, so I paid.

After three months, trouble started when she pleaded I borrow her money to offset NEPA bill I know nothing of, of course I dodged. Tried some sexual advances at me cus she's a widow, sent her daughters to try as well, brethren, I dodged all the bullets. Then she unleashed her terror. Below are some of the things she did to me;

1. Breaking into my space when I'm not around. Once I've locked my burglary, she'll send her children to tip toe and spoil my locks. I spent lots of money buying padlocks everyday.
2. She offs the tap at intervals, especially when I'm back from work even though I'm not owning her any dime.
3. Since the change over is in her house, She manipulates my current. Having low current all the time. I ended up not using my electronics except fan which has been weakened already.
4. No privacy, she moves about monitoring and listening to my calls.
5. Locks the main gate anytime she likes
6. You dare not buy anything and carry it at her face, she felt like I was intimidating her. The story long I no fit finish am.

But in all, I've learnt never to live in any compound were the landlord or landlady lives, never never never never !!!
