landlord this, landlord that. What about useless,demonic tenants? Some will moved to a neat house and leave Their gabbage 🗑 behindnSteal your property/damage it.Some idiot one will use their car to block the walkway/driveway and expect the landlord to shine teeth

I don’t stay in apartment we’re the landlord or the landlady lives.

Someone gave me this advice when I newly got a job those years.

Lawyers in the building, isn't a quick notice supposed to be in effect ? Say 3 or 6 months?
How can the new landlord threaten eviction same month of expiry of existing tenant rent
all because he just bought the house?

The truth of the matter is even most of will do the worst when we eventually become a landlord.

I was house hunting months ago. Ill-fortune nearly pushed me into the net of a terrible landlord. After all negotiations had been cleared and payment was at the verge of being made, the landlord threw in a weird condition that I must on no circumstance entertain visitors on Fridays and during weekends and that no sleep-over visitors must pay me visit.

The law says 3/6 months and 7 days grace.

Most Landlords are great. If you have a bad landlord, watch yourself, Perhaps you are the cause.

Hmmm. It was a bitter experience o. I happen to be an introvert who doesn't mingle with people easily. I prefer to live a private life. From home to office and from office to home. No playing around.

I have friends in the office but once it is the closing time, we depart until we meet the following day. At times, we leave from office to pepper soup join and upon leaving the place, we depart until we meet again.

I didn't know that my landlady was watching and studying my way of life and had been discussing this with other landlords around.

One day, she invited vigilantee when I came back from work around 6.00 pm to come and evict me from her house on the premise that l am a ghost. The excuse was that I have spent three years in her house and had never seen anybody moving with me, visiting or playing around with me.

My explanation did not go well with the vigilantee. I was beating and arrested. I have a senior brother who was an Army then (now deceased). When l told him the story and what led to my being beaten, he was seriously furious and annoyed and dispatched his men to the street. Upon seeing a handful of Army in the street, the street was deserted. For two days, my landlady was indoor and could not come out. Other landlords who participated in the incident could not show up.

To cut the story short, they were eventually made to pay for my treatment and my brother advised that I should look for another accommodation elsewhere which I did.

In fact, it was a sad experience o.

not young, landlady not living with us, she came to serve me letter of increment by 5am in the morning and I just moved into the apartment last year. bearly a year, she increased my rent by 50%.

There is a house with Red gate very close to Johnny Blue hotel Calabar. This house is located at Joseph Mkpang street Ikot Ansa Calabar. the landlord name starts with E.

Please on no conditions will you rent a house in that compound.

The man is a proper definition of Evil

My land Lord is the best landlord I have ever had. He makes feel as if I am in my father's house for seven years now he didn't increase my flat rent while my co tenant are paying 600k for rent I still pay 220k . I honestly can't imagine the type of favour i am getting from this man. May God bless him

I just left the house 3 days ago

My problem started ever since I installed Solar for the comfort of my family... Landlord got envy and evicted me with the excuse that there's no difference between tenant and landlord in his house and that I'm acting as if I'm the landlord. Shey na talk be that?

Imagine ooo! And if their phones die, they are coming to my place to charge them

I used to watch envious landlords like this in Nollywood movies. I never knew this level of envy exists in real life
