President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, at his private residence in Lagos, News360 Nigeria reports.

Also present at the visit was business magnate Chief Adedeji Adeleke and globally recognised Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido.

Governor Adeleke confirmed the visit on his official X handle, writing:

"This evening, alongside the scion of the Adeleke dynasty, my big brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke, and my nephew, whom we are immensely proud of, David Adeleke, popularly known as @davido, we paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence ahead of the Sallah celebration."

News360 Nigeria recalls that Davido, along with members of his team including Cubana Chief Priest, had earlier visited President Tinubu at Aso Rock days before this latest meeting.

The visit, coming ahead of the 2026 Osun governorship election where Tinubu’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), is expected to challenge Governor Adeleke, has stirred conversations in political circles.

Photos from the courtesy visit, first shared by Presidential aide Daddy D.O (@DOlusegun) on X, captured the President warmly receiving Davido, his father, and Governor Adeleke in what appeared to be a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
