Na CoS scam na , it has nothing to do with the look of the scammer . It just takes a scammer promising a desperate Nigerian to help them secure CoS to travel to the UK and the desperate Nigerian believing it because he has friends who bought CoS and are now in the UK.

Wow.

23 million to run UK visa? Not US, Australia or Canada?

God, give me the courage to even think about it [/color]

I be FG employee, and I'm not offended by his car ads mocking civil servants. Rather, I find them amusing and I think the NOA scored an own goal by issuing that statement because instead of shutting him down he's gotten more visibility, virality, momentum and a huge boost.

I mean, this guy has been posting these ads since last year but was ignored and tucked away in a small corner of social media. Now, thanks to the attention from the NOA, he’s scheduled to appear on Channels TV’s morning show today and other media outlets.

In this case, silence and ignoring him into oblivion would have been the better strategy.

I get that some people found the ads funny, but honestly, the NOA did the right thing by stepping in. There’s a saying: “A small spark can start a big fire,” and “a stitch in time saves nine.” If you don’t address disrespect early, it can grow and cause real damage.

This isn’t about being too serious or lacking humor, it’s about drawing the line. You can’t keep mocking civil servants publicly and expect no response. In many small businesses with just 20 or 50 staff, you’d face consequences for publicly insulting your boss or coworkers. Why should it be different here?

Even on Nairaland, if you disrespect people or use the wrong words, you get banned. Is Seun scoring an own goal for keeping order on his platform? Of course not. He’s protecting the space. So how much more important is it to defend the dignity of civil servants across the entire nation, people who, at one point or another, include our fathers, mothers, and yours too, or even ourselves, ( though some may have retired?)

That’s exactly what the NOA did: defending the dignity of those who serve the country dutifully and faithfully.

Yes, the guy may have gotten more attention now, but good attention is better than bad. Unfortunately, in this age of moral decay and the so-called "woke" generation, any kind of attention is seen as success. But not for people like us, we still value moral standards. And the internet never forgets, this could come back to haunt him in the future.

The NOA’s move also sends a clear message: there are limits, and not everything is fair game for jokes.
So kudos to them.
So na because of "not for civil servants" you dey type all this one cheesy

I hope one of these days someone being rushed to hospital for emergency treatment will not die in this Lagos because Tinubu is in Lagos and the movement of vehicle on the highway is stopped for over one hour.

Last December I was stuck along 7 & 8/airport road in Lagos for over an hour. I'm sure Tinubu's plane had probably not left Abuja airport when Airport road in Lagos had been blocked with everyone trapped in the traffic. Funny thing was that it was both sides of the road that was blocked, not just the one he would pass when his plane eventually lands. I'm sure some people who were trying catch a flight out of Lagos would've missed their flight that day due to the wait.

Just last week, the whole of Ahmadu Bello in V.I leading down to Eko hotel was on locked down when he was around most likely to cut ribbon on the Coastal road starting point. I saw long queue of vehicles stuck in traffic which lasted for over an hour. I didn't even know when the traffic cleared eventually.

The issue now is that Tinubu is in Lagos and won't leave until after Salah . Nobody knows his traveling plans within Lagos(of course it is confidential for security reasons) which means that at any time u can just find urself stuck in another traffic either becuase he is stepping out of the house to go for Eid or Jumat prayer. If u no really get something important to do outside, it is advisable to avoid areas like Ikeja, VI, Ikoyi and Lekki this festivity/holiday period o.

Broski, I liked and shared your post because two opposing views can be valid. However, one thing I've learnt in life is that not every provocation requires a megaphone response. Safe.

I told you he will announce sales packages.

Very simple sturvs. grin grin grin

It took me only 5 mins to watch a few of his videos yesterday to predict the formation he will use. You can already guess his kind of personality. He is a natural salesman and will not miss out on such nationwide sales opportunity.

Nowadays u will sell ur car at after serious usage and milage at a price higher than what u paid when u bought it Tokunbo 5 years ago. The exchange rate and inflation don scatter every thing.

Apologizing would've mean he was guilty as charged.
A lot of Africans have mastered the art of running from the truth.
When Trump called African countries shitholes, outrage broke out, but let’s be honest, he wasn't lying.
Back in 2018, I wasn’t offended. I saw a reality check.
If you’re poor and someone calls you poor, the adult response is to be motivated and improve your situation, not start screaming on social media.
That mindset issue is everywhere.
A guy selling luxury cars makes a statement for advertisement and suddenly the FG is issuing warnings. For what? Because he exposed the glaring truth that most civil servants couldn’t even afford the steering wheel of one of his cars?
Rather than being embarrassed that salaries can’t match the lives they pretend to live, they choose to be offended.
If it hurts, fix it.
Don’t shoot the messenger because he said what you already know.
They should upgrade the system if they can't accept the bitter truth.
