Tosin Olugbenga is an Obidient.

He started out by referencing a coalition poster of Atiku and Obi. The photo of Atiku is larger than the photo of Obi.

Tosin Olugbenga said that that will never work and he gave his reasons why it will never work. He said that Peter Obi needs to be the presidential candidate with a strong northerner supporting him.

Tosin also quoted a well known politician and then he said that what worked in 2023 won't work in 2027. He said that Yusuf Datti cannot be the running mate to Peter Obi. He said that they need a strong northerner.

Imran quoted Tosin's post and said that Atiku would be a bad pick for the presidency, mainly because he is too old. He went on and on about the demerits of Atiku.

The interesting thing is that both of them did not say who their candidate is, but everybody knows what they are doing.

The real problem is that the Northern voters only listen to one or a combination of the following things - you are either a Northerner, or you are incumbent, or your religion is Islam..... Sadly they have the numbers and that is very very important.

To make matters worse, almost the entire Southern governors are on Tinubus side, including 3 governors out of 5 South East governors] (Alex Otti(organic Tinubu person), Imo and Anambra(the one that doesnt want another igbo hero apart from himself) [/b

[b]5 out of 6 governors from the SS are with Tinubu as at today(Edo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Delta, Rivers) the only one that is not with Tinubu(at least for now) is the one with the lowest number of voters(173k) in the last election. It is almost a complete takeover in the south.
That is where Obis problem is right now, his voter base has been invaded. Ofcourse he can still win in those states, but with those governors being with the president, it is going to be very very close.

Atiku has already served 8 years as a VP. He can't be a VP again. The constitution has given a two-term limit and Atiku served two terms as VP (1999 - 2003 and 2003 - 2007).

N as it stands now last election mistake have been highly corrected, south south will support Tinubu so they can get VP in 2031.

Another thing is that once el rufai is in d coalition, those northern Christians n aggrieved northerners will automatically vote against el rufai which is a plus to tinubu

This is the highest form of insincerity for Northerners to cajole the South for a coalition presidential candidate.

If Obi gets the ticket for the coalition then Tinubu should not bother to campaign because he has won second term already. 😂

Obi is not a threat to any serious politician.

Atiku can never be a VP again in Nigeria. Obi destroyed Atiku's chance to become president in 2023, why would Atiku now back him to become president?

Amaechi has a better chance of clinching the ticket if they zone to the south. And he will give Tinubu a better run for his money than Obi. The APC already know Obi game - he was a force they didn't see on their blindspot; that won't happen again in 2027. The way I see it, Obi will run independently and divide the SS votes again. He will take most of the SE votes, a portion of SS and NC, nothing for him in SW and North.

Amaechi will take a big portion of SS, nothing for him in the SE, SW, and NC, and NW.

Tinubu will clinch most of SW votes, a portion of SS, win NC with landslide, with Buhari's backing in the NW, take most of the NW votes and half or 1/3rd of NE votes.

There's no pathway for victory for opposition. And if they field a southerner self, it's very for APC to demarket him. One, they will tell the Northerners to remember GEJ didn't abide to the one term agreement, and that a new Southern president will spend another 8 years - having a shot at the presidency in 4 year time instead of 8 aligns best with the power brokers in the North.

There's a reason that coalition is yet to gain root more than 6 months after Atiku started talking about it. And if you noticed, Amaechi suddenly came out of nowhere to become the face of the coalition. That's to tell you they've abandoned Obi.
