You don't even need to go to hospital for snake bite there are local remedies available.

And snake doesn't share street with humans here.. what you see on FP is individual experience.

Pray never to get bitten by a snake, particularly vipers like gabbon viper, puff adder etc. In less than 2 hours without anti venom the person is gone. I kill any snake that crosses my path wether venomous or not. I may be saving someone else's life by doing so.

What region of Kenya did you grow up in that had no snakes? It's quite interesting you say that because Kenya is well-known globally for the safaris and wild life environment with some wild lions even straying right into the outer limits of Nairobi from the nearby game reserves a few years back.

These snakes (venomous and non-venomous) are all over Australia (where the most poisonous snakes on Earth exist), African, Asian, and South American countries. Some of these snakes are ALSO very good swimmers. "Nat Geo Wild" opened my eyes to how deft a lot of wild animals can be. When I'm near a river or lake, I don't just move right in because there could be vicious Crocs in it waiting for prey.

Indeed, the lack of anti-venoms in some locations in Africa, Asia, and South America is what should keep everyone at full alert. There could be anti-venoms in a healthcare facility but it will NOT work for a different specie of snakes that bite you.

I couldn't have guessed right if it wasn't stated here by you but then again, it's located in a heavily forested region of Rivers State and Nigeria.

The python you killed is indeed massive. Kids, elderly folks,and young adults have to be very careful around this kind of snake (which isn't venomous) BUT one swift grab from it and the prey will get constricted into oblivion while it slowly digests the prey.

Of course there are remedies for snake bite. I heard that traditional healers have their own cure, that I cannot disprove. But, the surest is anti venom injection.

NO! Read my earlier post that you quoted again.

There are several anti-venom treatments for snake bites BUT in reality, if the anti-venom for a particular snake specie🐍 isn't readily available as of the time of a snake bite, then that would prove very fatal and lead to death because you CAN'T use the anti-venom shots specific for one specie of snake to treat snake bites from another snake specie.

The serpent teeth is curve backwards with razor sharp teeth design to bite through its prey & cannot be shaken,prime or open to free d prey......it is hard to imagine that vile reptile bitten into your wrist & refused to letgo with all d pains,damage to flesh,blood vessels,nerves & d horror of seeing it's ugly face & blood everywhere & feeling it's incredible strength....even that size in that picture will wear & freak you out.
