Contrary to popular opinion the presidency should go to the north in 2027 for all fairness but people will roast me for this.

Obj did 8 years
Goodluck did 6 years
BAT 4 years

Thats 18 years total as opposed to the north with 2 years Yar’adua and 8 years Buhari making 10 years.

If the presidency goes to the north for two terms it will bring north and south to 18 years each and balances out.

Oya you people can start the insults
Don't be stupid.

Yaradua died of natural causes and his vice was sworn in in accordance with the doctrine of necessity.

That's the reason for a vice president and Jonathan served Yaradua's term then started his own.

Envy and jealousy no go ever gree una to think straight.

The Constitution means nothing to una.
Only cavemen thinking.

This is yet another political conjecture destined to end in futility. No amount of coalition-building or realignment will unseat the master strategist in 2027. In fact, such moves may only end up favoring him. The opposition missed their golden opportunity to unite in 2023, and since then, the political landscape and dynamics have fundamentally changed. Only the discerning can recognize this shift—not those driven by emotion or political inexperience.

The Northerners Must Have Learnt Their Lessons In The Hard Way, Now They Know That Yorubas in Leadership Position Can Not Be Trusted. VP Shetima is No Where to Be Found in Tinubu Government.

Na this reasoning dey make black people no fit work together and progress. For the record I am a southerner. I have met thousands of people like you, the average black man has no sense of sacrifice and equity that’s why all over the continent there are wars on resources and power sharing. No sense to actually calm down and think about things from the other persons perspective but only your own. I’m telling you the point the north is making and if you really think about it, they have a point, you can counter their argument with a good justification but you resorted to insults. In 100 years from now na so Africa go remain because of people like you.

There is nothing like North (united) as far as 2027 is concerned . what we have is North Central (also called Middle Belt), North West and North East.
Those clowns forming coalition aren't even sure of winning just 1 geoplitical zone out of 3 in the North talk more of the entire South (minus South East sha cos those ones can betray).
Yourast statement confirmed you as a ZOMBIE. We don't betray. We always make it clear that we are not going to support whoever that we won't support. We are not going to support APC. Know this and know peace.

Fielding a northerner in 2027 is undiluted madness.
Political parasites who cannot survive outside of government positions and handouts.

Tinubu's MUMU ticket has shown that the federal character discussion only works to disadvantage the South.

At this rate, we should be having Christian-Christian and Southern-Southern tickets.
Since all of una wan mad completely.

Just imagine a Peter Obi and Yemi Osinbajo presidency.
Just imagine an Akinwumi Adeshina and Raji Fashola presidency.

We have carried the North along for far too long and they have always messed up the privilege.

We should start boldly sidelining them.

Nobody has the monopoly of craze.
So Osibanjo will deputize obi, joke of the century. If the two are the only one on the ballot, Osibanjo will win all other zones except south east. He is more educated, better performer and not ethnic and religious fanatics. The north will openly support him, just like south west and south south. Don't ever reason that nonsense again.

What point are they making?
That a president who died of natural causes should have been replaced by his kinsman rather than by his vice?

Do you even realize the ramifications of the cause you're championing?

You think Tinubu will rig the election and not rig governance lol. You can't have someone who is not morally upright as a president and expect a moral governance. You are too myopic to understand this. At last we are all seeing it.

why do you think that the presidency will go back to the north in 2031? If buhari wanted another northerner to succeed him but failed why do you think that Tinubu wouldn't want Wike to succeed him. And you people said that Tinubu can do everything and get away with it. Don't you think he can succeed putting a southerner after his tenure?

You guys still thinking you are in 80s or even 90s.. "people eyes don open" everyone now knows his brothers and sisters, (north centres)
as it stands today, determination of nos 1 man in Nigeria, no longer in the hands of Fulani-north, that you guys called north, it has since moved to South West.
leave them. If the coalition is of Fulani stock and tinubu will win and they should be prepared for north central presidency after Tinubu. The core north knows the north central will throw thier weight for Tinubu, so they are doing everything possible to destroy the accord.

I don't care who deputises the other.
I only care about two good heads at the helm of affairs.

The vice president technically becomes the president once his boss is out of the country and transmits power to him.
That's not the power you give to a slowpoke just because his tribe has to be represented.

I proposed a Fashola/Adeshina ticket as well.

I'm sure you just refused to see it.

probably nobody, but don't expect any good thing from this government. Tinubu's best government is this first time. Imagine when he wins his reaction, that is when we are going to see the worst because he would not be asking for votes again.
Re: North’s Bold Plan For 2027: Unity Or Power Grab? by onuman: 10:57am On Jun 05, 2025
North's power grab bid is acceptable to most of the south.

Tinubu grabbed power after ignoring the zoning system that had kept Nigeria going.
It's the turn of the southeast to present president for Nigeria in 2023.
