First of all confirm by using the ssd external casing, insert the ssd here and connect with to another laptop and see if it will detect it.

The suspected faulty one from my Elitebook also failed to boot on my Probook when I plugged it, but the functional SSD from my Probook also worked on my Elitebook. Which means it's most likely the Elitebook's SSD is faulty. Having done these, do I still have to try it with the external casing?

To see if it is accessible for you to copy out your files.

@Zamantu,the Specs are good but don't buy any faulty laptop with the intension of repairing because there might be more issues wrong with it than just the screen.
That N400k can get you a good gaming laptop,you can use for heavy graphics task or programming.

More of 3D rendering, graphic design too mostly on photoshop, and gaming, just efootball. I want to go for lenovo p52 or Dell precision 7530 before I saw your post. Can I get any that are more recently manufactured than these for 400k? If yes, could you help me with examples. Thank you.

It has fallen or taken any hit cus I’ve been meticulous in it’s use since I got it. What could be the problem?

you can not get a solid graphics system with that price range

My PC is stuck at “Why did my PC restart” loop after I did a factory reset on it, which cleaned everything on the computer including Windows 10. So, whenever I click on next to see if I could reinstall windows 10 with my Wi-Fi connected to my PC like it says, it just restarts the PC again and repeats the loop. So I figured out the PC is unable to re-install Windows 10 manually after I’ve factory reseted the PC, and it won’t allow me install it with my WiFi too, so I’m wondering if there’s anyone here who could reinstall Windows 10 on my PC via USB or other methods? Thanks

change your hard disk. Your hard disk is bad. Constant blue screen of death, slow performance, lagging and stugging of windows all point to a bad HDD

Switch to SSD, if you're using HDD.

HDD is old school.
