they should just implement pay as you go..
Re: Multichoice: A Victim Of Its Own Success? by Cmeo(m):
I will keep saying it that DStv may continue to have problem unless they add Internet service provider to their service. The streaming services that they have won't help them and it maybe too late before they finally realize it.

Their current model of hotel package and other subscriptions model will just allow them to be making money to maintain their existing structure and may not allow them to have a deserving profit. It is even possible that the current model will make their revenue decreasing in the near future not to talk of profit.

I can consult for them free of charge to discuss their challenges and offer a solution that will double their revenue and profit in few years to come.

If multi choice is tired, they should pack their bags and leave Nigeria.
Increasing subscription up to 2 times a year only to be repeating programs/movies for us. The market is here, make your service affordable and see people patronizing you, not exploiting us and trying to play the victim game here.
It's not by force. Multichoice is not a government agency and neither is it a free enterprise. If their prices are too high, use Startimes and stop ranting. No be Tinubu get am.

After reading your article, I have reasons to think you are doing Public Relations job for DSTV.

Your article is good but the content somehow made me feel you are on DSTV's payroll.
Re: Multichoice: A Victim Of Its Own Success? by notobiafrababe(f): 7:05pm On Jun 06, 2025
It's very glaring this is a DSTV sponsored post.

I've packed my DSTV and got decoder since March. They've lost several customers due to their crazy and frequent increments in subscription prices. A lot of Nigerian are in survival mode. Stomach first , children school fees second before any other thing. Why should I spend 70 percent of my salary on repeated programs.

I'm in support of a competitive market. I disagree with exclusivity or contents

With the advent of free streaming and movie download apps like Moviebox, I kissed that yeye DSTV goodbye. Firsthe off they hardly show latest content and constant repetitions of shows made the service a bad option. I'm a movie buff when I'm not reading or chasing knowledge trail in one website or another so it kinda hit a low for me.
Our sports guys can still be using it but for me it's MovieBox all the way

DSTV has just 2 more years in Nigeria.
What happened to Nokia then will surely happen to them.

With my unlimited data plan and my smart TV5, the entertainment world is just a click away.
I watch all footballs and every other things I need to know.
