On one evening, the car just went off. I tried starting it but it refused to start. It will try to start then immediately go off. So mechanic came and unclip and then reclip the brainbox, then it started and was able to drive. But it will gradually start stalling and not respond to acceleration at some point until i allow it rest for some minutes, repeating the process again. Now it does not start again. I will attach the scanned codes

you have plenty codes because you removed connector to the ECU, reset the codes again then try driving the car after that read the new codes that are left so you can start from there

The ECU is not removed and it is currently there but still won’t start. It has also cleaned and all of that, still

Read my comments well. You already said it yourself. It was unclipped and reclipped. I'm sure it was done with the battery head connected too. Do as i explained and check how many codes left then you can determine which is the real issue

Let him serve the. following sensor (crankshaft position sensor, Coolant Temperature sensor, camshaft position sensor, oxygen sensors, mass airflow sensor, throttle position sensor

It's just to remove it and wash off the mud, fox it back to see the reaction

Let me get you right. I should clear the code,remove and reconnect the battery then drive (but the car doesn’t start)?

Man these codes are damn too much WTH..Try check the alternator belt maybe e never cut cause if that thing cut,car go Dey do like say e high on colos..

ECM may be fried or the ground wire to engine from the main harness is not connected or some wires have been chewed by rodents.


Ask your kazeem to trace ground wires and then check ECM if it's fried or if rodents have chewed wires.

Did he trace the cause of the problem before getting a replacement ECM?

The brainbox was replaced and the car is okay now. Although it only came with some transmission code
