Unfortunately, no game was played. None! Asiwaju embarrassingly lost Lagos to an opposition party. Lagos of all states? Who should we blame? Should we blame Tinubu, who was running helter-skelter to gain the support of electorates in the North and South, or Sanwo-Olu who had all the resources and was supposed to be above board and win the election for his benefactor?

Who is Tinubu that aspiring governors must revere and submit to? Corrupt individuals labeled as a government driven by favoritism and political patronage.

Why is my mind going to Awolowo and Akintola. It is not exactly the same scenario but my mind keeps going there!

This narrative is one of the clogs in the wheel of Nigeria's development. Baba sope politics, the evil politics of Baba isale or Baba at the top is what is particularly dragging Lagos down. Can't the governor have free hand to do his job?besides he was popularly elected though election fraught with irregularities.
