You cannot compare China and Nigeria.Chinese are innovative, they are not a consuming country, you don't steal money in China. Poverty rate is high in Nigeria
Yes, you are right ๐Ÿ‘
But how do we combat the Corruption, when those around the Govt, including Past Govt Officials of :
- the Executives,
,-the Legislatures,
-Ministers,
-the Ministries, the Agencies, the Depts,e.g NNPC,the DISCOS,etc -the Tables are all having Skeletons in their Wardrobes?
For the Chinese will not allow it and in recent time, even Females Billionaires - are being Executed Publicly in China-to send a Message.
Same in Saudi Arabia,UAE,etc.

Nigerians living in India and China are doing well. There's hunger everywhere but not as we have it here. Some countries enjoying 3-square meal will still say they're poor
Lol no make anybody deceive you o, the number of poor people in those countries is higher than the entire population of Nigeria.

Imagine the way you're talking. What we call poverty in Nigeria isn't poverty in India.

Lol no let anybody deceive o, there is video of a black guy who went went Mumbai, you will see what the media won't show you.
The reason why places like India and south Korea are been praised is because they have improve their economy very much and has raised millions out of poverty, but it doesn't mean tens or hundreds of millions are not still living in poverty.

I repeat, what you see as poverty in Nigeria isn't seen as poverty elsewhere. For instance, in India and Korea that you mentioned, you can have access to 3 square meal which you can't in Nigeria, if you don't mind doing odd jobs. To even eat one square meal here is difficult to most families. Even in America there's poverty but not same level as seen here. Poverty get level. It may be accommodation or inadequate income level they see as poverty in the US cos there are lots of homeless people and not the 3-square meal or clothes to wear, which most homes can't afford here. So far you're not lazy, you'd definitely eat. Unlike here where there are millions who are willing to do any type of work to live, but no job. No food.

Yeah these are the figures but another is what is actually on ground. Apart from insecurity which has severely impacted food production in Nigeria, our situation isn't as bad as when compared some these countries.

I use to think highly of south Korea since they own companies like Samsung, Hyundai etc until I watch squid game 2 and I had to do research and discovered food price is higher than Nigeria, we have similar exchange rate, fuel price is high, the only difference is their minimum wages.

With the removal of subsidy and floating of the naira if the government can tackle insecurity and corrupt we can overtake in a couple of years from now.

Nigeria is over 300m. The quoted figure and the 6th position is official. Sadly, we're not using our population to our benefit due to government bad policies and corruption, unlike China, India, Ethiopia and Bangladesh.
LOL You think India, China, Ethiopia, and BANGLADESH don't have a corruption and policy problem!? Every last one of those people is trying to leave their country. Even the richest Chinese don't want to be there. Do you know how bad a place has to be when people wrapped up in Gucci and pushing Benzes wanna leave?

Nigeria isn't the only place where food is cheap. Its affordable in India as well. Don't compare India to a developed dystopia like South Korea that didn't realize that this entire race was a marathon and ended up sprinting. They sacrificed their family unit and thus their fertility rate for a brief gain in productivity. Sacrificing their future for a brief shine in the present. India is not following that stupid trajectory.

Buddy, you need to realize that India is one of the fastest moving targets out there. The fastest growing major economy on the planet with a high enough economic complexity index and a demographic dividend that means it can sustain this growth for decades.

According to the UN HDI report 2025, India's HDI has grown twice as fast as Nigeria's in the 2010-2020 decade. India has twice the per capita GDP and almost ten times the per capita electricity consumption compared to Nigeria. India's exports have grown from $499 Billion in 2020 to $820 Billion in 2024 and are projected to touch $1 Trillion this year. India is a juggernaut now. Its going to be an upper middle income economy with a high HDI by 2030. That is expected to create a discretionary spending boom that will lead to massive growth in domestic demand of goods and services that will allow India to pull people out of poverty even faster than before. Extreme poverty is already almost history in India today, as I showed in the data I presented in my previous post. At current growth rate, poverty itself will be history in India by 2035. Modi has set a target of a fully developed India by 2047. And the path, at least till 2030, is set, the funding and investments in that future (infrastructure and industry) have already been made.

Do you really think Nigeria can overtake India in how much each person consumes electricity? In infant morality rate or life expectancy? In poverty eradication? Just solving a food shortage won't give you all that. Read about how hard India worked to get where it is today. Where just 1% of the Indian population is in extreme poverty.

And before you give me platitudes about "situation on the ground being different from my numbers" go and actually read what the UN Multidimensional Poverty Index measures. Its not some World Bank type of crap method where they say less than $2 a day means poverty. NO!
The Multidimensional Poverty Index measures deprivations in everything from Nutrition to Clean Water and toilets to the type of house the poor live in, the number of years they attend school and even the type of fuel they use for cooking! Watch the image I have attached below. MPI measures the "situation on the ground" which you claim is "different". Its not different.

Good you mentioned the US, places like India with high population their have population of poor than you realize, the only reason they sing their praises is because they have work on their economy.

Both are creating resources to meet up woth their population, unlike your own country.

Again, there are already restrictions on the number of kids families can have in those countries.

Currently, you can hardly see an Indian with upto 3kids

We want suggestions, not just an aroma -talk!
What would you suggest to the Chinese and India of 1.4Billion People in their Continents?
India is Producing Keke Napep/ Keke Mawa - all over the World ๐ŸŒŽ and is also a leader in Tata Auto- Production ( Motor Vehicles) Cars, etc.
-Recently,same India -launched their way to the ๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿš€ Engineering, there by - Moving Away From the 3rd-Economy/ Developing- Economy into -a Developed Economy !
โ€ขBecause their Leaders Were Intentional - About Industrial Development.e.g they Now Exports Foods like Rice,All Manners of Foodstuffs, despite their huge Population but Past Leaders in Nigeria Could Not Fix Light ๐Ÿšจ or Refineries until NOW!
-But India is also a Nuclear Weapon Powered Country!
That is GREAT and Same With China ( though a Dictator Country).
LET NIGERIA LEADERS PUT THEIR HOUSE IN ORDER- TO BECOME GREAT.
So y don't u become a leader and help us put the house in order
