An exposé was published by @Objectvmedia after they went on a tour of the coastal highway.

According to @Objectvmedia, the tour was prompted by the need to verify whether 30 km of the coastal road had truly been completed, as claimed by the Tinubu administration and corroborated by Reno Omokri. Omokri stated that he drove the entire 30 km of the recently commissioned Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and even claimed he was at the 30 km mark with Prof. Wole Soyinka.

“The beginning of section one, as at today, about 15 kilometres by two carriage way on the average has been achieved, and at the end of the project at Eleko where section one stopped, about 5 kilometres has been achieved.

“So, the idea is by 25th of May 30 Kilometres continuously will be made available for Mr President to Commission from the beginning of section one down to kilometre 0 to 20,” Umahi said.

You’re throwing around kilometer numbers without proof, but even the FG’s official statements don’t back your ‘completed’ fairytales. Not even the contractor, on the day of commissioning, claimed 30km was done.

Don’t mistake sand-filling for construction, even beach resorts do that before building anything meaningful.

I had to watch the video on Twitter and the blogger is at km 30 which is still under construction. There's no point in time Umahi claimed the entire 47km in section A has been completed.

Some sections are still under construction in section A, that's why only 30km of the road was commissioned.

If you have a problem with government commissioning 30km is understandable, but to claim the government is lying, is false.
