I have already pointed out why I think his temperamental . His reaction to the danfo incident clearly shows that .

A danfo driver bashes his car and he ended up smashing the danfo windshield . Did he do that out of joy or anger ?
You and I don’t know bro. But I get your point still

This was your original post about beating up the driver's grin

Put as simply as you're now putting it, chances are higher I'd walk away than engage in any sort of physical altercation...Wetin concern me na the car wey dem bash and we know these guys have zero interest in fixing cars they bash...if they're not begging, they're resorting to fight.
This is the point I was trying to make . I always flee at every appearance of possible violence because that’s my default response to that kind of situation .

I’ve walked away all the times I’ve been bashed by other motorists either Danfo or private vehicle .

The only time I broke one woman’s side mirror while trying to avoid a useless korope that was going to scratch the side of my vehicle ; I had to approach the woman with remorse , begged her to get the repairs cost from her repairer and send to
Me next day (cos I was in a hurry that day with my family in the car ). The next day I called her for the cost , I did transfer to her and all wahala was settled . When she chatted me to confirm the payment, she said she didn’t know there were still responsible men in Lagos o.

Ah, vex ke? No now — vex never enter o! Haba, no need to apologise abeg, you and I are just having a normal, civil conversation. I’m only trying to point out that you may not have the full picture in every instance, so your conclusions might not be entirely accurate.

Abeg, I no vex. If my tone came off a bit direct/strong, I apologise too — it’s just normal Warri blood talking. No hard feelings at all. Bless up, bro 👊
One love bro 👊

cheesy cheesy cheesy

My blood dey hot when another man like me tries to oppress me — that’s just the truth. But to be fair to Blueray and Flint, they also have a point. For me, I usually chalk my reactions up to being petty — like going low/lower when someone else goes low in certain situations.

At the end of the day, my conclusion is that both Blueray and Flint are far better humans than I am! 😂

Yea, it's mostly a personality thing, there are people that are always ready to get physical such that even before the fight they've already sized the person up and decided on how the fight would go in their mind. And it doesn't matter how highly placed they've gotten in life, it's just their nature, you no see Oshiomhole the other day dey challenge Abati to fight cheesy

It doesn't help too that Pastor Paul is a gym bro, there's a natural arrogance they move with cheesy

I made that post without going into too much detail. You also highlighted where I said the driver thought he could beat me up. Since you’ve already decided that you would have walked away, my question is: if the driver threw the first punch, would you still have walked away? If yes, then you’re definitely a better person than I am.
Chances are it won't get to the point where the driver feels the need to throw the first punch, cause the first couple words is tending towards deescalation strictly on the issue at hand. The matter fit still drag o, but it would be hard for it to tend towards fighting...people that are fighters would always fight and they'd say it's the other person, when in truth it's as much about them as it is about the other person.

I still dey get brain spark once once, but it's very rare.

There's a limit to which you can endure, and then you burst out. I might see your reaction that day, and conclude that you are a very bad tempered man

The issue which led to that must first be looked into.

If my child beats up a kid at school, I'll first ask him what happened, rather than assuming he could be bad tempered.

On these streets of Lagos, the privileged ones are already labeled the cause of all incidents. I can hit you with my car, and it isn't my fault.

Hit an Okada man, and all his compatriots will surround you and bully you to go and treat him. If he hits you too, the same thing

What let to your outburst, matters to me first. That way, I can now assume if you overreacted or not.

As in Ehn 😂😂😂

Flint is a Benin boy, so I was surprised when he mentioned something about a major artery in his hand and dying. I’m guessing he grew up in a very sheltered environment and was never really exposed to the rough side of Benin life.

As for Blueray, being an only child and having all that protection growing up has definitely shaped his perspective on life and influenced the way he reacts to things too.

True this, and it can be an issue managing people that are of that fight-fight nature, cause instead of you seeing what happened...you'd be more focused on their reaction to what happened.

My younger bros get that fighting personality, and we dey always get issue on the issue of why fight, and what caused me to fight grin

Dey play! You never jam anything bro 😂

Now let me paint a scenario for you:

Let’s say you have a childhood acquaintance — someone you grew up with on the same estate, attended the same secondary school with, and now both of you are in university. In terms of university level, you’re three years ahead of him because you got in earlier. This guy has always been big — size and weight-wise — and much larger than you. You’ve never had any issues with him, and you’ve always treated him fairly.

Now here’s where things get interesting:

One day, you and some uni friends are eating at a restaurant just outside campus. Then this guy walks up to you and starts asking for money — but not in a way that suggests he really needs it, more like he’s trying to intimidate or obtain it from you by force. At first, you assume he’s joking. But then he starts putting his hands in your pocket.

How would you react?

You leave your house not happy, after a heated argument with your wife

You go to work. Get into trouble and you're being queried for something that isn't your fault. You could be suspended, and it could affect your salary

You jump into your car to go home, thinking about the frustrations at work, the one waiting for you at home, and your urgent need to offset some debts

Then one Danfo bashes your headlamp, and is trying to blame you. You know your insurance is third party, and he has no valid papers

How many people will easily let this go? If I slap this guy, is it really that I have anger issues?

Danfo drivers are very manipulative.

If a private car hits me, I am willing to let go. But I must make sure a danfo driver pays me something, even if I go use the money drink beer.

There's a way they can get on your nerves, and still try to make it look like you're at fault, or they are dying and cannot pay anything.

Flint and blueray must be living very very sheltered lives where their commute is within highly regulated estate.

There is a limit to how much anger you can manage on the streets of lagos

When you have multiple triggers from police to customs to danfo to okada to Keke to pedestrian to lastma to Kai to area boys to local govt.

Someone will hit you and immediately start lying and trying to pin it on you. Ediat okada will come at you from one way on expressway and if the guy injure it is on you. Rather than wait danfo will try to intimidate and cut in front of you, especially if you are in a clean car.

They deserve all the beating they get.

That is really the summary about slapping or beating them. It is the only consequence they will ever face for irresponsible and selfish behavior.

Like Gloriousgbola said, Blueray and Flint must have personal drivers or drive in very sane places.

This Lagoshuh

A bike man once hit me while I was trying to make a turn. Every car stopped for me, but he didn't see me because of the speed. He ran into my car and fell in a gutter.

If not for the cars that stopped and few road sellers who stood by me and defended my position, his whole group almost bullied me to carry him to the hospital and fix his bike.

Choosing a life of peace has nothing to do with living sheltered live . I attended a secondary whose students are notorious for street fighting , stabbing and public disturbance .

Even as a young person with enough fellow young people around me to influence me with your exuberance I no Dey enter fight , sha na now wey I’m more matured and things soft small I go come Dey enter the same trouser with a Danfo driver that is most likely under the influence of drugs and alcohol ?

Theflint1 has already pointed it out up there ; it’s a personality matter . I don Dey avoid physical trouble since I can remember as a kid . No be today

I mentioned up there that a crazy driver bashed my barely 3 months old car last December on Christmas Day . I was pissed like everyone would be in that situation but I still walked away without getting any physical with the driver or smashing his car with wheel spanner in retaliation .

You see Danfo drivers, Okada riders, and Keke people… bro, fear them o!

I have a cousin who had an accident involving a Keke rider. The Keke rider was clearly at fault, but because my cousin was driving one of those luxury Toyotas now worth ₦15 million in today’s market, a crowd quickly gathered and started threatening him. Out of concern for the Keke rider—who, by the way, had no visible injuries—my cousin offered to take him to the hospital. That’s when the real wahala started.

They began demanding that he buy a brand-new Keke. Luckily, the accident happened right in front of a filling station between Warri and Eku, several years ago. The owner of the station, who happened to be a local and spoke the language, quickly intervened—just in time too, because the Mopol stationed at the filling station had already cocked his gun in support of the Keke man and was threatening my cousin.

The station owner ordered the Mopol to step back and addressed the crowd. He told them that my cousin had already shown more than enough goodwill by agreeing to take the Keke man to the hospital, and that anything beyond that wasn’t his responsibility. He also instructed another Mopol to escort my cousin to the hospital, stay until payment was made for the man’s checkup, then follow him to Eku and return. He firmly warned both the Keke man and the Mopol that if anything happened to my cousin, they would be held accountable.

That’s how my cousin got out of the situation unharmed—physically, at least. Mentally and financially? Completely drained.

The person who slapped them didn’t slap them out of excessive joy but uncontrollable anger . You’ve made my point for me .

If person keep slapping them for their reckless driving and damaged caused to one’s car, one may later have a dead dango driver on his hand sooner or later . Those guys abuse drugs and alcohol , their life is hanging on a thread .
