I like your writeup, it's very detail.

Back to the matter at hand, realme C75 seems to be the cheapest here which defines "budget"
Thank you my boss. I try to get my details down to note as possible.
Yes it's the cheapest in this comparison. Performance holistically it may not be No 1 but surely with that price , it's giving the top 2 a run for their money

They are way too expensive for entry level devices.
I plan on swapping my Spark 20 to Spark 30Pro this new week any advice @ParadoxWrites?

And if you have a website please include it in your write up or include your social handles.
Thanks and keep it up!
Thank you so much for the support chairman. I don't have a functional SM account yet nor a website but I already have plans towards em. I will gladly put the links up

That's a great choice. But what I can say is I don't know the amount required to swap . You can try looking for other options Incase . But solidly. The 30pro is a great device

I'll rather buy a 7 year old Snapdragon device. Thanks but no thanks!
Trust me you may not really like the repercussions of that decision. I think I will make a post about the difference between old tech and new tech. The only way you have the tiniest bit of chance is buying an old prime level flagship. Otherwise omoo na tears

I was advised to go for the Camon 40 [Easybuy option with no interest]. That's what I am using to respond right now.

In continuation of our previous post (https://www.nairaland.com/8356525/top-10-budget-smartphones-nigeria) , we already had a promise to keep but we had to wait for the new releases (as you can see some brand didn't feature ) , hopefully by year end we are going to have a full catalogue breakdown.
The main idea of a mid-range phone is to get as close as possible to a flagship while keeping the price as low as possible (basically a bang for buck kinda stratagem where you have features of flagship at a lower price in sacrifice for other stuffs). In this price bracket, smartphones offer better performance, improved cameras, faster charging, and premium designs compared to entry-level devices. Whether you're a gamer, content creator, or multitasker, these phones deliver excellent value.

We ranked them based on performance, camera quality, battery life, software, and overall user experience, using official prices and reputable online stores.

1. Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G (₦350,000 – ₦400,000)
Perks:
- Display: 6.78" AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate.
- Camera: 50MP main + 50MP selfie.
- Performance: MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate.
- Battery: 5200mAh with 45W fast charging.
- Software: HiOS 15 (Android 15).

Disadvantages:
- No 5G support.
- Slightly bulky design.

Why It’s Great: Best camera phone in this range with a premium AMOLED display and fast charging.

2. Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G (₦320,000 – ₦390,000)

- Software: Hyper OS (Android 14).

Disadvantages:

- IP64 rating isnt that fully waterproof/dustproof.
Why It’s Great: Flagship-level camera and best performance for gaming/multitasking.

Why It’s Great: Official IP ratings with certified level of durability combined with decent performance at lowest price in this segment.

4. Infinix Note 50 Pro (₦320,000 – ₦370,000)
Perks:
- Display: 6.78" 144Hz AMOLED.

- Battery: 5200mAh + 90W fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
- Camera: 50MP main + 32MP front.

Disadvantages:
- No headline feature (lacks a unique selling point)

Why It’s Great: If fast charging is your priority, the Note 50 Pro’s 90W wired + 30W wireless charging is unbeatable under ₦400K.

I've explained it already. Look at my post that you quoted. Realme C75 is a rugged device but it is not midrange. It is low end cos of the CPU. If you want a midrange device, you can go for Redmi note 14 or Tecno camon 40 which sell for around 275k and 280k respectively for their 8GB ram versions

Budget phones do the bare minimum
Mid range are like the tier between the bare minimum and flagships.
So while he might claim that the C75 isn't midrange solely because of the processor, he's incorrect. Its way above budget devices
