Every candidate said they'll remove fuel subsidy but the difference is how.
Obi said he'll remove the subsidy in batches, while making policies that will reduce the effect of the removal in each batch.
If you want to make a baby stop breastfeeding, do you suddenly stop breastfeeding the baby? No, you reduce it gradually while introducing the baby to solid food.


Even you yourself, would you have removed subsidy immediately? I mean you. I'm sure you would've done it the same way obi proposed, and that's because you probably have human conscience. Tinubu removed subsidy on his very first day despite knowing a lot of people won't have time to adjust, and not caring how it'll affect people.
