Do you know how Igbo and Yoruba languages are very similar in terms of basic words?

There was a research paper on this topic some years ago by an OAU professor.

Some of you need help really, Delta North is Igbo and nobody's denying that. Let anyone identify with whoever they want. Olukumi is actually a pure Yoruba word meaning my close friend.

Delta North is not only Igbo. There are several tribes in Delta North.

it’s common sense,Africans don’t like reasoning with senes but always with sentiments,they can acknowledge their history but they have been disconnected with the larger Yoruba
See the names of the kings and the People,Uchenna,Ngozi etc

That's the mistakes you're making, people can adopt names due to close affinity but doesn't mean they share ancestry with you.

But you can see them here identifying with their ancestral kinsmen and not ibos. The fact that people are your neighbors doesn't mean they have to be ibo, that's why you are coercing SS minorities as ibos.

You are right. My mum use this word very well meaning my friend. She's from Ondo State.

Isinyemeze and atuwatse from delta are from yoruba groups
But ifeanyi from delta and amaechi from rivers are not from Igbo groups.

those Yoruba sub groups are not denying their Yoruba roots, onlike the ikwerre who have consistently rejected being ibo

The Yorubas are proud people and proud of their culture and heritage and they don’t need to force anyone or sub groups who don’t want to identify with them, that’s the difference

But Lagos is multi ethnic and multi cultural too,we have Benin,ijaws,fulani(Gambaris),Nupe and Yorubas in Lagos,so Lagos is not Yorubaland

The Ogiame/Olu, the aristocracy and top chiefs are Benin people. A large population of Itsekiri are Eastern Yoruba, some Edo and neighbouring tribes.

Where in Anioma land is an urhobo an indigene and is Agbor a tribe?
