I spend most of my Christmas in Anioma land and they have never been anything but Igbo,I don’t even speak English while I am there,can you as a benin or Yoruba go there speaking your dialect?

you can direct your grievance to the ikwerres, who have consistently Denied being ibo I even had this conversation with my ikwerre friend yesterday while have some drinks and he told me they are not Igbos but their ancestors migrated from Benin and they were married to ibo women but itesekiris on the other hand have never denied their Yoruba heritage even though we no send them weather they chose to identify with us or not

Reno is Itsekiri. He just calls Yorubas Olukumi as that's what they call them in the Delta area. In Benin Republic, they are called Anago.
In Togo, they are called Ife Ana.
In Sierra Leone/Gambia, they call them Aku people.
