My own annoyance about this Benue killings is what are the Benue youths and men doing?
We used to hear them brag about Benue people from all tribes,Tiv,Idoma,etc,being brave and fearless warriors ready to confront all kinds of threats and assaults.
Where is that bravity and fearlessness or it's just a myth and they are cowardly when faced with guns.
They used to also claim to have potent charms.
Where are all that now?

The attacks are in very remote areas mostly without good roads, telecom facilities and light, most of the people here are just poor peasant farmers the herders are obviously on a mission to take over their land but unfortunately the system that should protect them have failed them, there is a ban on open grazing in the state so what are the herders doing in the forest ? is there a country where its citizens are killed in their homes daily in such a manner without repercussion on the assailants and we all carry on like all is okay? The worst that will happen is to allow people to be pushed to the extent of taking up arms to defend themselves, we are sitting on a ticking time bomb.

Sometimes I want sympathize with the folk there but when I think about how they went to vote the same party after all that they went through in the hand of the same party

U don't know much. The state majorly gave their votes to Obi.

The loss came from the zone A where the current SFG has stronghold and TINUBU's money bought them. The same region is not facing any of this crisis. The people bleeding are the zones B and C that fight against the injustice from the FG.

I am suspect that the governor is a toothless bulldog. The herdsmen orchestrating these attacks are residents of Benue State and they have places where they live. All the governor needs is to carry out secret raids on Fulani communities. I am sure they will find countless assault rifles and other weapons. They should make arrests and conduct vigorous interogations. I am sure those arrested will sing like canaries.
