I just wonder how you guys just noticed Obi's intellectual shallowness.

Go back to every interview he ever gave especially since 2022 and see for yourself...

They know see idea steal from the interview like they have been doing. When they steal and implement it badly. They begin to defend it that even obi said he will execute the same policy. I said I will do it.How I will achieve it is now the difference. It is never a one way traffic.
Obi go finish them with BP before the coalition that is coming.
Thr only bet now left is rigging via governors.Nigerians will resist rigging in 2027 they have been pushed to the wall by hunger, poverty corruption and insecurity they have taken to highest level in just 2 yrs
Ifele adiro gi n'anyi o! If as an Igbo man you were not ashamed of that interview then inwere serious problem maka chukwu!

"Na see finish" dey worry PO...

I had adviced him here to lie low for a while... until close to the next election to have a chance. But he preferred to be in everyone's face.

Scarcity creates want.

Too much circulation just makes disdain and reduces value.

I watched the interview because of the backlash he received... I don't think he did so badly. Apart from his mannerisms and way of conveying his arguments. Which I have never liked.

I am not his fan or supporter but I don't think he did as badly as people are making it out to be.

He has always been bad at expressing himself.

He isn't doing or saying anything different from what he has been doing.

He has only granted too much access to criticism .And people are begining to notice cracks!

We have seen the one bereft of ideas in action. His supporters made up every excuse and he dodged such interviews; resorting to dropping 30k here and 10k for data boys to bury Nigerians with lies upon lies.

Peter Obi is coming. Get used to it.

The Obidients have been running Helter skelter since yesterday that their principal sound incoherently to the questions posed to him

More veil about Peter Obi's dullard would be unveiled before the 2027 election
This man find work o. Tufiakwa.

I dont think its about how he expressed himself. Thats more of a personality thing and its cool
The main issue here is, his answers arent convincing at all. His points arent cogent and he doesnt sound like one who has a laid down plan on how to go about things

There are numerous Obidients here on NL that i do not fancy, but i can assure you that debating with them still requires a high level of reasoning. Some are smart, others are well vast in Macro-economics and major topics. Obi knows almost nothing

A Post-Interview Reflection on Arise TV’s Peter Obi Session

When friendly questions meet empty answers, even the softest interviews expose the hardest truths. The Arise TV encounter between Rufai Oseni and Peter Obi was meant to be a showcase—but it revealed more hollowness than hope.

It was the softest interview since bread met butter. Rufai Oseni, who wears his Obidient badge like a press pass, lobbed gentle questions at Peter Obi the way a proud uncle tosses candy at a school play. No tough follow-ups. No real challenge. Just a warm seat and a friendly nod. If Obi had seen the questions before, it wouldn’t surprise anyone. But even with all that help, he still flopped.

That’s the real tragedy.

Because when a biased host throws you a lifeline and you still can’t swim, it means the problem isn’t the water — it’s that you were never ready to lead the boat.

Rufai’s performance exposed his own hypocrisy: the journalist who shouts truth to power, but whispers when his favorite is in the chair.
And Obi? He showed once again that behind the confident delivery and crowd-pleasing slogans, there’s a troubling lack of substance — and worse, a streak of intellectual dishonesty. He dodges specifics, recycles vague promises, and hopes no one notices he’s skating on thin ice.

An interview meant to inspire turned into a display of avoidance, deflection, and empty words. Leadership is not a social media campaign. You don’t wing it with vibes and loyal fans. You come with facts, plans, and the spine to take responsibility — even when it’s hard.

Obi brought none of the above. And Rufai didn’t dare ask why.
Why are vultures interested in Peter Obi's interview. They should mind their business of failure

You can't give what you don't have na.. what was OP expecting?
That Rufai Oseni is a big hypocrite with the way he handled the interview compared to the way he tries to bully guests on Arise Tv.
This is why you shouldn't take all opposition voices serious, some of them are even worse than those they criticize.

I watched that prerecorded ARISE TV interview with Peter Obi and I cringed at Obi's hollow emptiness.
This was an interview conducted by his acolyte and greatest fan Oseni Rufai who gave Obi a permanent and consistent "get out of jail card" and Obi still failed woefully.
He deflected questions and mouthed empty political slogans.
He was asked about the Pandora papers and he just deflected with emptiness.
He was asked how he would handle subsidy removal and his response was more emptiness.

Those who packaged Obi as an alternative to Tinubu and APC need to tell themselves the honest truth that Peter Obi based on his antecedent performance as a governor in Anambra State for 8 years and his subsequent chaotic handling of the imbroglio in his party, the Labour Party is not the expected messiah or saviour.
Well said. That man na just packaging

Tinubu can never present himself for any interview. He dodged the presidential debate. Now he is busy messaging up the Nigerian economy. I wonder what is, wrong with his gullible followers that they are just attacking Obi who has been busy with his humanitarian activities. Hold your leader accountable and leave Obi alone. Borrowing government.

You fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? That’s on me. Peter Obi sold many Nigerians a Made-in-Italy dream, only for it to peel like an Aba shoe in the first rain. Now he returns, same packaging, same soundbites, same hollow promises—and some folks expect silence?

Obi’s interview wasn’t just a stumble; it was a full-blown reveal. When asked for real solutions, he offered slogans wrapped in air. No detail, no direction, no depth. And when he was pressed, he pointed fingers—never a mirror.

Calling critics “vultures” is rich. Is it vultures that ask for accountability? Is it vultures that demand plans, not poetry?

We’ve bought the shine once. But this time, we check the soles before walking the talk. If democracy is a market, then public scrutiny is fair pricing—and Obi’s product isn’t matching the hype. Let’s not be fooled again.
