Peter Obi was probably the only politiian to openly support Emefile's cash heist policy which Emefile used the ruse of going cashless as an excuse.

The so-called Cashless policy which remains the most economically disruptive and destructive ever introduced by a Central Bank wasn't meant to goad Nigerians into going cashless but was Emefile's crude and senseless attempt of clearing up his mess . The cashless policy was a desperate and ruthless attempt by Emefile to mop up the excess cash in circulation which Emefile is responsible for.

Emefile's attempt at managing the naira and broader economy was to print more cash into circulation.

At the time GEJ handed over power to Buhari, Nigeria's total Naira in circulation both cash and in debt, was 12 Trillion Naira. By the time Emefile began his heist, Nigeria's currency and debt in circulation had soared to close to 60 Trillion - a whooping 500% cash and debt insertion into the economy.

The slowpoke known as Giringory supported Emefile's unclever attempt to mop up the mess he (Emefile ) created.

The other group to support Emefile was the Ohanaze faction led by Iwanyanwu who bemoaned Emefile's arrest as a "genocide" targeting ibos.

The FX window under Emefile could not meet up .

This is why Foriegn airlines were charging 3 times the cost of a ticket in same distance routes from Nigeria than other African countries.

Reoertration of FX was near impossible for most multinational companies as the CBN did not have the funds .

Foriegn airlines like Qartar Air quit Nigeria for this sane reason


The only solution was to stop the artificial pricing used by Emefile to hide his malfescence and stupidity.
