Kinly tell us what human right was violated, oga Barrister

As a lawyer myself, I can authoritatively tell you that no human right is unlimited in application...If your human right infringed on another person's own, it will be curbed

The other young kids there also have a right not to subjected to horrible sights that can trigger seizures...No sane person takes his young kid to watch horror movies...so why would anyone sit and watch his kid be traumatized by another person's kid?
What you are saying by implication is that an "ugly" person can be denied access to a public space. That's clear infringement on the person's fundamental rights.
There is no part of the Nigerian Constitution that permits that.

I very much doubt your claim that you are a lawyer.

i wish her the best, the father is trying.

Blackman7:
This is totally unacceptable and the name of the mall be called out so people can avoid the place. I love how the father stood up for his daughter. The guy is my hero. Looking at the bright side, the mall just made the little angel a star. I wouldnt be surprised if the girl get scholaships and donations from the public. I wish her all the best.

You just keep displaying your low intelligence and ignorance for the whole world. Children don't get seizures from seeing disabled kids.

buygala:
The man's responsibility is to his kid, as mine is to my own kid

If my kid gets a seizure from seeing that kid, I am sure the man won't contribute a dime towards his hospital bills

If I was the owner of that supermarket, I will damn well ask the man to leave with his kid...

He won't be there to help me with legal fees and all if some other customer's kid was to have a seizure upon sighting that kid, and his parents decide to take it up with me for failing to properly keep my place in a kid-friendly state
Never shame or make someone feel bad for something that is not his/her fault.

Ask yourself, what if I'm the one?

There is a thing called "overriding public interest"

We have a duty to protect your young from inappropriate scenes..and as undesirable as it may sound, that man's kid's appearance is inappropriate for young kids...

This is a big jackpot for the father and daughter in the western world particularly in the US if any super market try that nonsense.

A young kid of a certain age is unable to process a human who is disabled or not

The same reason why some kids' seizures get triggered by horror movies is the same reason why an sensible parent should shield his young kid from such spectacle that's that man's child....

I went early this morning to track a tenant who's been owing his rent for quite some time now and has been annoyingly elusive about it...no calls no reach out to me..not picking or returning calls and messages... As he narrate his ordeal finish I just made some noises and left but for my mind I no go just trouble this man again..let me not compound his already suicidal state... On my way out I gave his son preparing for school 1k.. furthermore in tbe same neighborhood I saw a child with badly deformed legs struggling to school.. I reduced speed and asked where her school was ...she pointed to the opposite direction...so I asked why she was going the opposite way,she said she was hurrying to her mom's shop to take money for breakfast n Keke.. I asked if I can gv her something..so I dont look like a ritualist or sth like that to her.. she hesitated, studied me and then convinced herself that I'm am alright man..she nodded shyly..so I gave her 3k to buy some snacks for the week.... I haven't stopped thinking about her since then..the way she wore her old stockings and hat very smartly and struggling with her circumstances... I'd made up my mind to do sth more for her..she won't be hard to find in that area

These are the kind of things humans should do... Not condemning humans because of their deformities n other circumstances...
My kind of being.

God bless you richly!

That one is your business

So because I could be the one, I should let my young child see what if they show on tv, I have a moral duty to change the channel?

This should attract the attention o f Kwara state government and decisive actions taken against the supermarket.

Inappropriate for young kids

If you feel otherwise, allow your young kids watch Annabelle the horror movie alone

For adults and quite grown children, no problem ...But subjecting babies and toddlers to such sight because you don't want to assault the other kid's sensibilities is utter madness

Jezzus! Are you sure you are really a lawyer as you claim?

Kindly provide the section of Nigeria's Constitution that empowers a Supermarket staff to stop an "ugly" person from entering his supermarket that is a public space.

Nothing like that will happen

There were other people's kids there...They also have a right to be spared eyesores, especially for babies and toddlers

If a toddler or baby was stonsee that girl and scream itself into a seizure, would you sue the toddler for harassing the girl?

The father's painting of the girl's face and carrying her like some ritual sacrifice didn't improve the spectacle either
Re: Emirate Mall Supermarket In Kwara Denied Man Access Because Of Baby’s Appearance by SeriouslySense(m): 6:45pm On Jun 10, 2025
toddlers do not even know what is scary yet, they only copy the adults reaction. Just like racism is taught and not something built before birth, the children copy racism.

Babies and toddlers are incapable of understanding compassion..at a later age, they can

At such tender age, they will only scream themselves into a crises if they see such "special" humans...And it is our duty to protect them until they come of that age when they can safely view such and be taught the good of non-discrimination and compassion

But at baby or toddler age, wetin concern man pikin with compassion, when its only problem in life is breatmilk, sleep and crying?

Other customers may not be comfortable with her being with their children. Na Nigeria we dey. Most of you commenting up there won't even want that child near your children.
Why will they not be comfortable, the man carried his daughter that's well dress in his arm, how did that concerns other customers.

Not true..that's why some toddlers suffer seizures if they see what their baby brains can't process...

No toddler learns seizures from his parents..it is the way their fragile brains react to what's more than them

So regardless of what anyone says, it is our duty to protect these babies until they are old enough for their brains to safely process such sights

i have seen children play with people with various disability and some even assist them. Like on Afrimax, that kenyan youtuber that is known world-wide for compassion i see it on his channel. Compassion is very important in this generation we are becoming too self-absorbed.

Yes

A baby or toddler must be forced to be compassionate...Pikin wey don barely suck brezz finish must learn to be tolerant by force by fire, yes.

While we are at it, why don't we give them babies a share of the home's financial responsibility to bear?
Re: Emirate Mall Supermarket In Kwara Denied Man Access Because Of Baby’s Appearance by SeriouslySense(m): 6:57pm On Jun 10, 2025
Children are naturally compassionate and kind but they change when they see how adults behave and they copy the adults, since that is the norm. Children copy a lot, but we teach them to fear things that are truly harmful like fire or heights etc

i believe you are right the children will want to show kindness and friendlyness to her.

What I will like to clarify is that, the man is the father of the said young girls and he is using the little girl to beg which she did during the First Eild and when he come back again they stopped him. Many people knows him on toktok life where he will be using the innocent girl to beg from one live stream to other.
