I wish the people that support this criminal government will actually call them out. How can? Tinubu is a failure and supports criminals and criminality. Unless this figure isn't correct. I don't think it's correct. 1,477 street light means 250 million per Street light. Chai! This amount can build a complete, well furnished and computerized primary school of 2 blocks of 6 classes each, an admin building, solar for power and still have change to pay the teachers for a year at N120k per month.

This is not correct news.

What BudgIT printed on their info graphic was not number of streetlights but frequency of street light projects. So there were 1477 i
Street light projects, each project could be for any number of street lights.

Each street light costs 226million
While each borehole costs 212million Naira.

Maybe the fund allocated for it is designed to sustain the presence of that streetlight indefinitely because it would be a shame for that amount of expense for so little value.

A quick Google search came back with $2000-3000 plus $1000 installation for street lights in the US. This criminals are the luckiest mofos on earth for being politicians in Nigeria.
