Death happens to everyone. It is an appointment we will all keep. I will die one day. Those who defend President Tinubu will also die one day. Those who defend Peter Obi and other Presidential candidates or hopefuls will likewise die someday. Thus, we should not feel any moral superiority because a Tinubu supporter died, as though his death was a divine punishment.

It betrays the low level of a culture that is low like a vulture when we see the death of another person as a cause for celebration.

The only time I ever did that was on June 8, 1998, when I joined the spontaneous celebration in parts of Nigeria over the death of General Sani Abacha. My father was so displeased with me. He told me that doing it once was a weakness. But if I do it again, it will no longer be a weakness but a wickedness.

May God bless the family of the departed Jesutega Onokpasa and give them fortitude to bear their loss, and may the Almighty grant us wisdom so that our weaknesses do not become wickednesses.

Reno is correct even though he has refused to speak about his brother said to be a rapist. Isaac Omokri, Reno’s brother was accused of raping a 15-year old girl. For such an ignoble act, I believe Reno should stop playing the ostrich and tell us if it’s a family trait.
