May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

A year of good harvest makes one the best farmer but how sustaining is such status becomes another BIG question. I am not ruling out any possibility until after 2027. So no assurance for PBAT for a second term for now.

Don't forget all the people making noise are the so-called political leaders, not the masses
The masses move according to the direction of the political leaders.
For instance, in 2019 you were an Atikulator but in 2023 you moved to become an Obidient.

The eyesore on Bourdillon Road
2nd January 2025

Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.

If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.

That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.

Should we not focus on leadership for excellent governance as the main, if not the sole measure of a good politician?

Is that how we are different from the collectively prosperous oyinbos?

Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?

In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;

or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority?

The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.

Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

Obi will defeat Tinubu in FCT with a landslide again
helinues:
The opposition campaign slogan would be to undo all the projects been done by president Tinubu .

Meanwhile, FCT is not part of Nigeria hence the numerous projects going on there can't be counted as part of this government achievements as they never do a thing, that's according to the opposition

I do not think so.

I think what undermines the coalition is lack of leadership and suspicions among the coalition arrowheads.

Atiku has not hidden his desire to run in 2027. Obi is also ambitious. El Rufai is chasing people out of SDP. Now they say they want to settle for Rotimi Amaechi. Does Rotimi Amaechi look like a presidential material?

Kenneth Okonkwo was on Arise Newsnight to blame INEC for putting bottlenecks to prevent registering a new party.

Why exactly cant they collapse everyone into PDP? Why can't they use LP?

They are blaming everyone for their inability for organize themselves.

To be honest, the opposition has not galvanized themselves properly. They have materials they could use, but treat them poorly. Segun Sowumi is singing a new song. Osita Chidoka resigned from PDP. Dino Melaye is somewhere enjoying his life, waiting for Atiku to clinch the ticket so he can come demonstrate his talents for destructive and childish campaigns. Phrank Shaibu is silent. Nduka Obaigbena gave Tinubu man of the year award despite his failed efforts to undermine Tinubu during campaign. Timi Frank is no where to be found. Don Pedro Obaseki has not paid Seun Okinbaloye bet money following the defeat of PDP in Edo State. He promised Seun 5 million naira. PDP governors are decamping. Obaseki has disappeared.

How did Tinubu cause any of these? Certainly not his good works. The opposition lacks a focal point.

According to them, Ameachi don't look presidential and the obi that look presidential was saying rubbish during the interview with Arise tv Rufai. He couldn't tell us a convincing pathway different from what Tinubu has done. How can he say, infrastructures should stop because there is security challenges in some places. Dem funny sha for that side. Desperation to produce president at all cost. I won't be surprised how they will attack Ameachi if he eventually becomes the coalition preferred candidate and obi later contesting on his own.

Give it to Tinubu. The Master of strategies.

In life don’t take relationship for granted, no matter your low level or highly placed you are.

Good relationship and strong bond will open doors that your educational qualifications can never open. That’s one of the secrets of Tinubu.

He leverage on people and he build relationships and that give him strong bond that is very difficult to break.

God bless Nigeria.
Master strategies in what exactly, some one dares to cheat and use crooked means to advance his course that what you celebrate as master strategist

if Tinubu has leverage on Nigerians why is counting on defections and politicians endorsement

Do you ever see Tinubu ask Nigerians to pass vote of confidence on him
