Arise News is a private TV station, and it's role is to amplify news, analysis issues and provide a platform for others (including government) to inform the public. It will be out of place if they are focused on singing the government's praise.

If all APC state governments and FG are doing well as we hear on TVC everyday (especially in Journalists hangout), it's simply shows that no hope for the country again. We don reach out best be that.

If TVC is a pro government and Arise is a pro opposition both extra does not make a right.
Channels TV has stand top over the years in journalism and both TVC and Arise should take a cue from that. Why don't people from both government and oppositions raise constant doubts and protest against Channels TV? Have you ever asked that question?

Rufai Oseni will sit down in the studio and be asking for empirical facts. Reno has gone to the field and showed them how it is done.

This is what we expect presidential media aides to be doing. As a media aide, be in the field and inundate the public with progress of government projects. We need a media aide in the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, one on the roads in Bayelsa, one in the refinery, one in Wike's projects, one in Tunji-Ojo's projects; they should be chased away from the office to bring information about Tinubu's workings.

The essence of the commissioning is to disabuse the mind of the public and to show how serious the government takes projects like this as their legacy project.

There are a lot of projects that governments awarded in the past and after four years they didn't get to 30 kilo completion.

You would have celebrated if the facts had shown that the project is at zero completion.

Casting aspersions is not journalism so if Reno didn't do the field work they will sit in their AriseTV studio and propagate fake news that only 10km was done without going out to "investigate" for themselves just as Peter Obi will sit there with them telling them stories of how Bangladesh is the biggest country in Asia and they will be nodding like agama lizard especially that animal psychologist Rufia Oseni.

For TVCNwes it's about not "asking the follow up questions" in order to avoid confrontations but their news is reliable and based on facts of the story they cover not fake unsubstantiated information like AriseTV.

The benefits of what then750km will bring has started with 30km completed that's is worth commissioning after all this project had been on paper for about 20years but only 0km was done

No leader could tackle it because the project is damn too expensive. As far as the colonial era they conceived it but they jettisoned the idea because it was too expensive. No one is saying the project is not good, but at this time that we are grappling with revenue concerns shows this project not to be realistic, unless the main plan is to do the road to link up with dangote funded road from the refinery to link Ijebu Ode.

Why didn't Reno point at the chainage marker to show the actual Km point where he stood to prove to everyone that he was at the 30km mark of the road. The young man showed it clearly and it was visible to the blind that the completed stretch was not up to 30km,Reno is only doing damage control.
