if only you knew how far Shehu Sani has been in the play of things in the Democratic process of Nigeria. He among many are those who forgot the military government/rule in this country and were sought after to be killed and even went on exile. Shehu has come a long way, he deserves it.

Comrade Shehu Sani deserves this lofty award. When many northerners were silent during abacha's draconian regime , his voice was loud . He was arrested by abacha and locked in kirikiri prison , he was later moved to abakaliki and lastly to aba prisons. He deserves this noble award .
Rtd Col umar dangiwa deserves this award also. He resigned his commission as a senior military officer when the June 12 election was annulled . He was one of those who fought for the democracy we're enjoying today.
