No. The woman specifically told me it's because I didn't have IRS transcripts even though she still requested I submitted W2 along with it.

I'm not sure why your i130 for your children is taking this long if their PD dates are Dec 2022 and Mar 2023. That's 2 yrs already

That's really long for i130 , fortunately your children are IR so there is no cap so when they are approved the wait might not be as long as for those in Family based

You only need to check that site when you have been interviewed.

Hey guys, one of my friends' parents got "come to embassy to have your fingerprints taken" in two weeks' time. However, this was done last February and they had to fly to Lagos from Abuja 4 times in the course of this process. Everyone is tired of this dribbling.

I told my friend to respond with an email. He has done so with these email addresses: LagosIV@state.gov and nigeria@usvisaappt.

After submitting the additional documents they asked me to submit after my interview, my Visa got approved (1st of July) exactly 2 months after submission.

It was like a dream come through when a lady called from the embassy to give me the good news. I had thought I was going to be in for a long time due to all the negative comments I have been reading on all immigrant Visa forum on Facebook and other social media platforms about administrative processing. But God made my case different.

My Visa expires on the 11th of August exactly 6 months from the day I did my medical. When I went to collect my Visa, the lady at the DHL office told me the Visa expiration date started counting from the day I did my medical as opposed to the day the Visa was issued.

Thank you @Aestake and @Taal17, you guys have been immensely helpful throughout the process. I appreciate y'all.

Who would have thought I'd be here today making travel plans instead of the usual worrying, bothering and having sleepless nights about the situation.

You will pay another money for the green card. It is called ELIS fee and it is 325USD! Pay before you leave Nigeria. Tell your petitioner to pay for you or sth.

Embassy has not issued the visas, so medicals expired. Today, embassy said, go and redo medicals...fam of 5.

Waiting for testkit samples to hit Lagos , so I’d be scheduled for a swab.

after my interview they didnt hand me an official request letter at window 21, i was just given an instruction paper on the DNA procedures.

I spent another 1 month going back and forth with my petitoner cause the DNA center in US wouldn't release his DNA to the embassy in Lagos without the official request letter.

I dont know if that was a deliberate attempt by these guys here in Lagos, omo we go scale through.

They do a lot of things deliberately to delay the immigration processes. It's very tiring. I'm very happy to be let off their hook.

Yeah you have to. But anyone that you fail to bring must be brought to your interview proper...
