It was clear to any science student on first read that he only jumped off after the plan had come to a standstill. So in effect he survived the crash and came down

Another incident that made me respect Newton was when I got hit by bus at bus stop while the bus had almost fully stopped. We all scrambled for bus after school so I went and placed myself at the most advantageous position to get a seat on the bus which was unfortunately in the path of where the bus was just stopping. Bus that must have been moving at 2-3 km/hr sent me flying 10 metres. That's when I knew that Force is mass x acceleration

When you want to jump on a bus stopping, You also have to be in motion and move at a speed close to the speed of the bus in motion

Regarding the plane escapee. He was able to get up and walk, shows it didn't break any or a lot of bones. if he jumps from the height of a story building alone, he will break bones due to impact unless you hit water or well stacked mattresses

You cant go from 30km/hr to full stop 0km/hr in a space of 3 seconds and not hurt yourself. Even Usain Bolt when finishing a race still runs about 50meters to slow down to a final halt

The horizontal velocity of the plane is too much for gravity to dull from that low height so he will need to hit the ground running at a speed beyond human capacity, that's if he can survive 650 ft fall which will already kill him. Both ways he is dead on arrival.

It takes probably 10 metres run up for athletes to build up to a speed of 30kmhr so you can't even do that from a standing start, your knees go buckle

None of these are dealing with horizontal velocity which is the case at this planes low height. Gravity has turned their motion into a parabola so they only have to survive the vertical drop, not hit the ground running. The Indian plane dropped from a height of only 100 Raumdeuters so our man will have to match his horizontal speed when he hits the ground, not just pray for soft landing

Away from the jokes, there's some explanations to be done as to how the guy actually survived.

The video of the crash I saw on the internet, there was just some few seconds between when the plane went down and when there was a big explosion. Are we to believe the moment the plane crashed, the guy had the presence of mind to escape through the emergency doors and walked out of the crash scene before the plane exploded?

In the bide of the survivor walking I saw, the guy was holding his smartphone. I mean this guy jumped or walked off a plane crash scene and he had his phone intact on his hands? 😲

I believe in a matter of days' time, we will get a clearer gist of what actually happened and how the guy was able to survive.
