Its well with you.
Go to Goodluck Jonathan and seek forgiveness from him. Then embark on a three day dry fast and pray to God for forgiveness

What of the massive stealing going on under this government. Tell me where they keep the subsidy money they promised to use for the development. Tell me why they are still borrowing when all loopholes have been blocked
There was no money for subsidy. They were borrowing to pay subsidy. No wonder you are easily deceived. You barely read and cannot comprehend what is going on.

You are the gullible one here. You know the truth but because you are benefitting from them, you won't say the truth. Life was going on well even with subsidy cos there is money in the system. Tax are being paid and money is coming from every angle. So with the removal of subsidy, life supposed to be more easier for the masses but reverse is the case. You guys are pure thieves.

The hypocrisy in this country is very shocking and embarrassing. President Jonathan did everything to remove subsidy. He even organised a town hall meeting in Lagos to educate the public on the importance of removing subsidy. Unfortunately, the same people who protested against his government and labeled him all sorts of derogatory names are in power doing worst thing.
So, basically, you never wanted subsidy gone at all, in other words.

Bello El-Rufai’s candid admission and reflection on his past criticisms of former President Goodluck Jonathan highlight an important truth about political maturity and governance in Nigeria. It takes wisdom to acknowledge the complexities and challenges of leadership, especially in a system as intricate and often flawed as ours.

His recognition that Jonathan’s peaceful concession after losing an election was a significant act of democratic maturity is particularly poignant. This gesture helped preserve Nigeria’s fragile democracy during a critical period, and it reminds us how vital respect for democratic processes and institutions is for national stability.

However, Bello’s reflection also underscores a larger issue — the system itself is problematic. The challenges Nigeria faces today in its democratic journey go beyond individual leaders. Electoral reforms, transparency, accountability, and respect for rule of law are fundamental areas that need urgent and genuine attention.

While progress has been made, as Bello rightly pointed out, the sustainability of democracy depends on robust reforms like secure electronic transmission of election results and protection against voter manipulation. Anything that undermines credibility, such as voting without proper identification, threatens to erode public trust and weaken democratic foundations.

In this light, Nigeria’s democracy remains a work in progress. Constructive criticism, openness to learning, and commitment to reform must guide us forward. Political maturity also means engaging with these realities honestly and working collectively towards strengthening the democratic system for all Nigerians.

Just to lure Jonathan into their 2027 agenda. They don't trust Amaechi or Obi to do one term if they endorse either of them cheesy

In actual fact no nigerian leader from 1960 till date should be celebrated except those who fought for independence.

They didnt all do enough to build institutions now the Nigeria system is so weak. Nothing has a structure.

courts are gone, civil societies and the legislature, police force even the military.

How did things become so bad, its all their collective contributions to the rot.
Poverty is how they subjugate the masses, naa population wey job belleful go get mind to challenge the govt

just swing 1000 notes in the faces of Nigerians nd you see the shock of your life

This guy and his father were the ones who brought all these tribulations to this country.
I'm still wondering why he never criticized Buhari despite and monumental failure of governance at that time. In his mind he believes that Jonathan is interested in this charade. Either he advises his father to swallow the Tinubu pill or he should scram.

If only sorry solves all issues then there won't be issues ,even repentance, solitudes, reflection and mourning doesn't..

One day another elite aboki will come now to apologize to Peter Obi...

That side of the country is nationalistic, equality, justice, independence, progress in their DNA and life philosophy.. we would continue to gamble +- in each election until they come and as neutral or both charged entity settle everything for country to progress.

If not OYO - + . I believe they won't fail to deliver... Cos it would be suicide... Their people is bold independent minded they Will challenge him openly... Its less to see their people blindly support a very bad quality efficient process to an outstanding best one for common Bais reasons.

Yaradua is a role model in the SE,SS region family speaks and praise him that it will take likes of Ngozi okonjo iwela likes to stand him in open election there...

My advice people if you the election results going any other place apart these region in next election... No that the -+ gamble is still on brace for pact ,save your money look out for your self and families...

This level of honesty and self-reflection is rare in Nigerian politics. Kudos to Bello El-Rufai for owning up and acknowledging his past mistakes 🤤😢 it shows growth and maturity. Leadership isn’t easy, and sometimes it takes stepping into the system to truly understand it. Also, respect to President Jonathan for the legacy of peaceful transition history will always remember ......

Pandoras’ box was opened the moment naive Nigeria was fooled into thinking the grass is greener on the other side and allowed APC deceive them into assisting in their power-grab! As bad as anyone would want to say PDP was, it was a million times better and more preferable to the present crop of tribalistic, jihadist and criminal-minded mafia dons now ruling the roost!

That woman on exile in London with Caribbean passport was just one, out of 100 thieves stealing on a massive scale during Jonathan’s government. Even Jonathan let us know that stealing is not corruption. Jonathan and all the people that served during his time deserve to be arrested. Just let that man enjoy his theft in peace o.
And is stealing corruption?
If stealing is corruption why is Ganduje APC chair, Akpabio senate president and Wike Minister?
And that's besides the fact that Jonathan's statement was distorted. He never said stealing is not corruption

PDP was bad. Even under GEJ, most people were suffering , Japa was the thing.

Heck, I even recall Abacha regime. A lot of people come today to say how good Abacha was , yet back then, lots of Nigerians were travelling the desert route to Europe. A lot of Nigerians were using the DV lottery to go to the USA then (knew three family friends that emigrated via that route)

The thing you should be asking is why every Nigerian government since independence has been considered bad and evil. The answer lies in the basis of our economy. And most of you like it that way, that you and your leaders do not want to change it.

So, the slow wreckage continues.

Even the horror of APC...was because APC as a party wanted to help the poor, and they did so at the expense of the economy, and even then the poor today are worse off than they were at 2015 june.

We need a leader who will make the basis of our economy to be using what we have to make stuff for exports. Manufactured goods and services. (Tinubu is not that leader...and don't come telling me about how this side makes stuff...the question is, are they making it for the world?)

Also, a country that pays subsidy on electricity is not going to have a working electricity system, or will have one at the expense of a 200 trillion naira debt.
