I can still recollect how Tinubu was really sidelined during Buhari's era. Man was totally schemed out and he almost lost political relevance. Some people even predicted he was on his way out of APC to SDP. But here he is today, he is the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. This is a big lesson for those who care to learn from others.

Is that not Umahi i am seeing second to the left of Osinbajo? Power is transient indded.

Thats why they need to inflate and toll a redundant road into the next 100 years.

Self-acclaimed APC leader sidelined?

There was no time Tinubu was sidelined during Buhari's government!

Nobody sideline Tinubu , he is the biggest beneficiary in buhari government. Almost all the appointments in buhari government came from him especially those from South West

Maybe you were probably living in cave that time when cabals in the presidency sidelined him. Even his wife cried out that her husband has been sidelined. Even Buhari's wife, Aisha, made a similar complain. Welcome back from the cave bro. You have probably stayed too far away from civilization, that's why you are not in tune with political events in recent years. grin grin

Rubbish.

See someone painting the situation like he merited the position. The man had the machinations to become president long ago. He didn’t want to at the time. The only person in my memory of the country who gained leadership through merit was Goodluck Jonathan. Unfortunately, being a good man has nothing in common with being a good leader.

Of course, Power is ephemeral. Only the fools and the low self esteems want to die in power.

Power is short
Power is transient
Power is fleeting
Power is momentary
Power is brief
Power is concise

So also is life. No condition is ever permanent.
But power will never understand

Everyone focused on the "man under the spotlight" undermining the man who made it possible for him to be there.
