patrickmuf:Presently Russia and Ukraine is conducting exchanges of captured & dead soldiers. According to the Istanbul agreement, Russia and Ukraine agreed to exchange 6000 for 6000 KIA (killed in action) from both sides....so far so good Russia has returned 3,600 bodies to Ukraine while Ukraine has returned only 27. Then you wonder if Ukraine even have up to 2k Russian KIA. 🇷🇺🇺🇦 Russia Transfers 1,200 More Ukrainian Bodies — Kiev Again Returns None Under the Istanbul agreements, Russia has transferred another batch of 1,200 frozen bodies of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers. This marks the third such transfer, bringing the total number of Ukrainian bodies returned to Kiev to 3,600. Kiev, however, has again not returned any Russian bodies. So far, they have only returned 27 — during the first exchange held after the Istanbul talks. The latest body transfer reportedly coincided with a separate exchange of prisoners of war. 🐻 That's 3,212 vs. 27 - just saying...

Ellexy:Listen to yourself He gave 60 days to make a deal, and then gave Israel the go ahead to strike So this is how peace should come, right? I don't understand the need to watch this as a movie. These are people's lives wasting per second. How can giving the approval the strike be the path to peace? |

izzou:not even that the strike will bring the required peace 🕊️ Strike will only worsen the situation because right now,Iran has walked out of the peace deal.. so war it is.. |

Unless I’m missing something, Trump has so far kept his promise of not dragging the U.S. into new wars. We’ve seen this with the Russia-Ukraine conflict, where he has significantly reduced support and funding for Ukraine. Regarding the Israel-Iran conflict, the United States has clearly stated that it is not involved in the recent escalation. That’s why the current administration is pursuing diplomacy with Iran unlike during Trump’s first term, when he ordered the killing of Soleimani and others. |

Dem done dey cry now but had no tears on October 7th when the terrorist Iranian regime sent Hamas to murder and kidnap Israeli civilians indiscriminately and have been sending Hezbollah and Houthi to bomb Israel for wetin no concern them. Iran was so bothered by Israel assassination of Hezbollah chief, it sent hundreds of missiles into Israel directly. Going by rules of State-to-State engagement, what concerns Iran with revenging the death of the leader of a non state actor in Lebanon. Emotional people, it's now they remember rules of engagement that Iran has been violating constantly Make any of these groups just catch one of these nuccas anywhere, we go hear Allawaqbar followed by beheading while they are still explaining how they support Palestine. Can never support any terrorist that will kill me on sight anywhere like my Tanzanian brother below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fS15OrGVXg?si=l3bnctd1gC-EKHxn |

Israel’s envoy to the UN claims that their attack on Iran was an act of national preservation. But I still remember when Israel, alongside the U.S., justified the invasion of Iraq by saying it would bring lasting peace to the Middle East. So, by that logic, is Nigeria also free to attack the U.S., the U.K., or any other country as an act of “national preservation”? I honestly don’t understand this kind of reasoning. At this point, I’m truly astonished. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexo: 1:38pm On Jun 14, 2025 |
izzou:I hear your concern and it is absolutely valid. But let’s not confuse the sequence of events. The 60-day window was meant to allow for diplomacy. Iran’s proxies continued provocations, and Israel made it clear that inaction wasn’t an option. The U.S. didn’t “approve” violence as you're implying, it acknowledged Israel’s right to self-defense after repeated threats and attacks. Sometimes peace doesn’t come from silence or delay, but from deterrence. Nobody wants war, but ignoring sustained aggression doesn’t produce peace either, it just invites more chaos. |

patrickmuf:That's why I stan Putin. Restraint. Many on this thread agitating for regime change in Russia don't know Putin is mellow compared to people like Medvedev. Western propaganda is very strong. I was a victim. C-19 era woke me up. Many don't know how liberal Putin truly is at heart. If he didn't have a genuine soft spot for the west, he'd have turned Ukraine into present day Gaza in 1 day. But you can see how we interpret restraint as weakness. That's what Iran is probably just realizing. Israel knew they stood no chance against Iran but they were hoping to drag the US into it. The agenda is to force a regime change and hopefully get a puppet like the current one in Syria so they can FastTrack project Greater Israel. Iran will probably lose their Ayatollah Khamenei. That's who Israel will target next and of course indiscriminately. People think there was any special military operation involved in whacking the Nuclear scientists but it was simply bombing their personal homes, killing in some cases wife and children. The media just focuses on the main target forgetting the real act of terrorism. Russia and China are taking notes because the playbook is the same. Proxy wars. Protests. Regime change. Iran has to be as genocidal to force the US to cower. They have to aim for the same regime change in Israel. Bibi Satanyahu cannot lead us into a WW3. He should kpai on his own. |

diggz:It is self preservation to attack your neighbors under the pretext that they want to harm you but if Russia invades Ukraine to stop NATOs expansion, Russia becomes the aggressor and the war in Ukraine becomes unprovoked. Rules for thee but not rules for me. |

patrickmuf: ![]() ........your energy sha! LOL! You need to read their posts on this same board bruh. Israel is impenetrable. Iron Dome is unmatched and other chochochos. Iran without nuclear bomb is the enemy while Israel with more than 200 nuclear warheads is the hero. Dude even considered Russia, North Korea as paper-weight tigers! LMFAO! Nothing airmark no dey see for atlantic ocean. |

diggz:Let’s be honest your comparison doesn’t hold water. Has the U.S., the U.K., or any of those countries ever publicly declared intentions to wipe Nigeria off the map? Have they openly funded armed groups that launch repeated attacks on Nigerian soil? That’s the key difference. Israel isn’t responding to vague threats at all. it’s responding to decades of open hostility, direct attacks, and consistent rocket fire from groups that are publicly supported and funded by Iran. When a nation faces existential threats, the calculus changes. It’s not about aggression; it’s about survival. Self-defense isn't the same as unwarranted aggression especially when the threats are real, documented, and ongoing. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:This Iran War will expose what they've been lying about in Ukraine all the while. The vulture is a patient bird. We'll soon count the scores. The US cannot fight multiple wars so they have effectively abandoned Ukraine. The EU are begging Trump to continue funding it and providing Intel but even he knows the US simply cannot afford it. There are massive protests in many big cities staged for today. The ongoing Palantir vs government surveillance scandal is brewing. The man is overwhelmed. The depletion of resources to Ukraine will force them to want peace talks again but this time genuinely. That's why Putin prefers the slow grind. Why inherit ashes when you can take over the country with relative value. Odessa is next. Russia want full control of the black sea then they'll hit back at the UK for supporting the most recent terrorist attacks by Ukraine using those drones. Everyone knows it was MI6 with some support obviously from the CIA. I also suspect they'll hit at the US later. Putin is a strategist. I fear who no fear am. |

Android17:I believe that the countless war movies over the years have desensitized many people to acts of terrorism. We now witness unreasonable violence in real time and dismiss it as mere self-defense. We’re entering a new world—one where anything goes, and where certain individuals and nations appear to stand above the very laws meant to hold everyone accountable. We’re watching, in real time, as the media spins the senseless escalation of violence and the killing of innocents as an act of “national preservation.” If that’s the case, then why haven’t countries like the U.S.—which have had ongoing trade wars and political tensions with China or North Korea—launched attacks in the name of national preservation? I truly hate the direction this entire shameful war machine is heading. It’s beyond disappointing—it’s downright disgusting. |

monerozi5590:You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Whether Obama, Bush, Clinton, Kamala, Biden etc - US foreign policy is dictated by Israel. The only reason some of us are angry at Trump is, he lied repeatedly during his campaign yet knew his base voted him for being a peacemaker. The libertarians for example would never have sided with him if he didn't present himself that way. Especially when we all thought the deepstate tried to whack him...Twice. |

We’ve seen this with the Russia-Ukraine conflict, where he has significantly reduced support and funding for Ukraine. That's a good posture to have for someone who wants to end a conflict. Regarding the Israel-Iran conflict, the United States has clearly stated that it is not involved in the recent escalation. diggz:How can my comparisons possibly hold any weight with you when you keep dodging direct questions and hiding behind a wall of empty grammar? By the way, are you going to answer the question I asked earlier—or keep dancing around it? And while you’re at it, can you clearly point out the specific and substantial threat that Israel was facing before they chose to escalate things again? Let’s be honest—we all have seen firsthand how Israel has embedded itself within the internal power structures of other nations, actively causing disruption from within. So please, let’s not play the innocent or victim card here. No party in this situation is entirely innocent, and no one is simply a victim. The real question is: Why did Israel choose to escalate tensions at a time when they were supposedly in the middle of negotiating a deal? Also, just to be clear—because I made a statement on NL that you perceived as a threat, you now think it’s acceptable to trace my family members and physically attack them? Simply because I said I’d confront you offline? Is that how you justify your actions? Omo…. Ellexo: |

During the night , 70 fighter jets attacked Iran hitting 40 targets successfully . Israel has successfully created freedom for future air operations within Iranian airspace . Everywhere go soon stew ……. Make una keep calm and enjoy the meal when it’s being served from the Jewish kitchen .

diggz:Hmm. Everyone is just dropping banger analogies here and there. 📝 But I will like to know too. Because why? Today would have been a good day like every other day, with different nations relatively minding their internal business. WHY did Israel have to go and attack first? Especially over an 'opponent' they are supposedly bigger than? If a soldier/area boy threatened to harm me, I would be right to take the threat seriously and probably attack them first, render them incapable of harming me. But if it was a bunch of 5-6 y/ olds 'threatening' to beat me, why would I ever be scared of that? Even if, even if they are holding nails and knives that I know I easily could get out of their hands. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexo: 2:33pm On Jun 14, 2025 |
diggz:I actually answered your question but the spambot banned both me and the answer ![]() But this is the way I see it.... Israel’s stance isn’t just we have nukes, so no one else should. No. Their concern is who wants the nukes and why. So here's the distinction; Israel has a policy of nuclear ambiguity (never officially confirmed or denied possession) and has never threatened to wipe any nation off the map. Meanwhile, Iran’s leadership, on the other hand, has openly declared its desire to destroy Israel, supports militant proxies that carry out attacks, and regularly chants “Death to Israel” at official events. So imo, It’s not about fairness per say. It’s about intent, ideology, and stability. The fear isn’t just about Iran having a bomb, it’s about who would control it, how they'd use it, and who they’re targeting. So for Israel, and honestly much of the world, stopping Iran from going nuclear isn’t about dominance it’s about survival. |

diggz:Lol you're trying to equate state-level, existential threats with personal online arguments, that’s a completely flawed comparison. Let me repeat it again incase you missed it before. Israel is responding to years of organized, well-funded, and repeated violent attacks from groups who have literally declared their goal to wipe them out. That’s not someone typing on a forum, it is rockets, suicide bombings, and hostage-taking, backed by a state actor (Iran). I mean this is clear as day nau. On the other hand, a comment made online even if provocative does not justify tracing or harming someone offline. That’s vigilantism, not self-defense. Self-defense is rooted in real, imminent danger and not a perceived disrespect. So no, you can't liken Israel's national security response to personal retaliation. That’s not logic at all, that’s a reach. |
